Thanks man, good luck with your goals as well. I follow pretty much every blog related with Husng although I don't post that much
wow, 8h/day grinding. That's a lot, respect!
imo, you shouldn't give poker a try, you should just aim to crush and then do it.
+1 on that comment ![]()
You results are pretty epic. I really want to learn HU but im terrified of the swings. SH is swingy enough as it is for me atm.

Thanks Shev, that's the long term plan - to crush them ♠_cool:

Thanks Wacko. From my experience, although I didn't play a lot of SH cash, I can tell you that the variance is much lower on HUsng
As a short update, on Tueday I had my best day so far on playing HUSng $363 profit over 46 games, turbos and hyperturbos at $30 buy in. So, since yesterday morning I've switched to hyperturbos and I will give them a try till the end of the week and re-evaluate then. Everything is going fine for the moment
Btw, I think most of you have seen this already but for those of you who didn't I will post the link here as everyone should watch it imo.

I actually didn't see it until a couple of days ago, I've see he's speech from 2006 and in my opinion it was the best there was on ted.com but this one I find it just brilliant.
Hello boys and girls,
It's been some time since my last update.. I usually try to update every Monday to let you guys how the previous week went and also to keep track myself of my progress. I didn't update yesterday as I wanted to finish clearing my first deposit bonus and make my first withdrawal so for me the last week had one additional day added ![]()
:club:So, started the week playing the 30s turbo and suddenly one night when the traffic at the turbos was kind shitty I switched to HT and got hooked.
:club:On Tuesday I won the most money per day until now playing Husng, $363 (12 buy-ins) playing turbos and hyper-turbos.
:club:Wednesdays started straight with HT and decided to play as many as possible. Broke my personal record on HUSNG's played in a day for 139 and finished the day with a small profit of 3 buy-ins also never being down or up more than 4 buy-ins during the day. At that point I didn't really understood why people were telling that the variance is so big in HTs ![]()
:club:Then Thursday came and things begin to make more sense regarding the variance. Played 120 games, broke my record for most money won in a day at husng for $511 (17 buy-ins). That was the good part.
:club:The bad part came on Friday. Played most husngs in a day for 230 and lost the most money I have ever lost in a day for $791 (more than 26 buy-ins down). So, there you go.
:club:From that, everything went all right, won $400 on Saturday, lost $40 on Sunday and won $400 yesterday
All in all it was the best week so far. Played mainly hyper-turbos, made my first cash out and I am still rolled for 30s hyper-turbos. I mean not completely rolled but I do have 50 buy-ins and I will probably switch to the turbo ones if I go under 40 buy-ins.
Not sure at the moment if HTs are the way to go. For clearing a bonus for example are great. They are also great if you are trying to achieve a certain status on pokerstars or on pokerstrategy. Also the rake being lower you can make a really nice profit by winning a small percentage of them. I think that if you win 52% of the turbos you are losing money but if you are winning 52% at the hypers you can make a really nice profit in a month if you also consider the fact the the volume you could put in would be at least triple.
Enough about that already, time for some stats
Stats from Week 8
HU SNGs: 843
ROI%: 3.9%
ITM: 53.1%
Winnings: $985.40
Time Played: 36.1 hours
$/hr: $27.30

I will leave you with that and I will get ready for this 6 day week ![]()
Take care ♠_cool:
Hi there,
The 9th week from my project is now over and there's really not much to say about. Ran bad on the 30s, got to 40 buy-ins bankroll, had to switch back to the 15s HT. I made a few buy-ins there and then I got around $180 in the first TCOOP event as it was a freeroll. Tried again the 30s, again failed so at the moment I am playing the 15s and I have a bankroll of about 80+ buy-ins.
For history sake I will post the stats from last week, 15s and 30s together
Stats from Week 9
HU SNGs: 464
ROI%: -5.9%
ITM: 49.1%
Winnings: -$619.76
Time Played: 17.3 hours
$/hr: -$35.79
and the graph

All in all the volume is very low so to motivate myself to play more and to make things more entertaining I thought about a challenge for myself for the next week.
CHALLENGE - Play 1000 HUSNG HT $15 buy-in in the next 7 days.
I think it's more than doable and depending on how this goes I might set similar targets for the future increasing the number of games. I sure hope that this will be a winning week and my target will be to win at least 520 games. I will post regular updates about my progress.
Wish me luck!
Not exactly the start I was hoping for but...
Games played: 101/1000
Games won: 47
Games lost: 54
my aim is to get at least 150/day so day not over yet.
Another short update.. just passed the 150/day mark
Games played: 152/1000
Games won: 75
Games lost: 77
I'm still in the mood to play and I will probably do that for at least another hour...
Hey man, just found this blog, and will follow it.
I'm also playing HU SNGs, and trying to shoot the 30s (turbo). I don't know if you have a husng membership, if you don't I strongly recommend it. There isn't nearly enough material on PokerStrategy for HU SNGs.
Good luck with everything, might see you on the tables

Thanks, but it's not that much really. One HT last around 2 minutes on average so if you think about it you get 150 games in 5 hours. Also the traffic it's much better and the tables are filling up so quickly that you can't really do any table select except so it's pretty much one game after another. In my opinion 200 games per day for somebody who wants to do this for a living is a must and I'm not there atm :f_frown:.

Hey bjela, I am following your blog as well and I was thinking of husng membership. Do they have anything about hyperturbos? or they are more focused on turbos/regulars. Anyway I might switch back to turbos after this challenge is over. hyperturbos are tilting me like hell and the variance is brutal. But I will make a decision after the I see the results of my challenge.
Good luck to you too and make sure to stay away from the hypers unless you are over rolled

Now, regarding my challenge, bad run continue last night and I had to switch at 165 games as I felt I wasn't able to make the best decisions anymore. Also another personal factor came up and influence my tilt as well. It looks like I might have to fly back to Romania for a couple of days to deal with some personal issues and of course it's not like I have the budget for that. I'm still struggling to get enough money for next month's rent. Anyway, I guess that what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger so I will just have to deal with it.
Update on my challenge:
Games played: 178/1000
Games won: 87
Games lost: 91
There's also a lot of hypers material, but the best hypers material is for premium membership (done by mersenary, also you have his free ebook on husng.com, it's awesome), which costs a lot. Also check out this thread from 2p2. Not cheap, though.
I have a standard membership and there's a looot of stuff there. But before I move to hypers I'm buying premium membership+that package.
The good thing about husng.com is that you can pay for one month and download all the videos you want and have them on your PC. So for 25$ you get a lot of things.
Thanks for the tip man. I will definitely consider buying a membership there in the near future.
Update on my challenge:
Games played: 247/1000
Games won: 124
Games lost: 123
I am taking a short break now and I think I will take a shot at the TCOOP-27 lottery.
If you dont want to buy membership, do what I did, just depost on some site through they link and rake $, to get standart membership its just matter of days, with your volume - matter of hours ♦
I am going to deposit on ipoker and rake 250$ and get free premium membership which costs 150$
I guess I could do that daun, but not sure it's worth it. I rather rake at pokerstars for the moment and if I want the membership I can just buy it. For the moments I have downloaded the free videos on hyperturbos and will decide later.
On another matter it seems that the issues in Romania are fixed for the time being so I can grind with a clear mind again.
Update on my challenge:
Games played: 300/1000
Games won: 151
Games lost: 149
Short update on my challenge guys
Games played: 400/1000
Games won: 202
Games lost: 198
I am a bit behind with the volume for this but I'm feeling in a grinding mode today so hopefully I will catch up. Should be at around 550 games at the end of this day so I'll try to get as close to this number as possible.
Hey guys,
Just finished playing for the day, time to get some sleep now
Games played: 476/1000
Games won: 244
Games lost: 232
Have a good night ♠_love:
Hi everyone,
I'm still a bit behind the schedule but got in another 100+ games
Games played: 580/1000
