I think this is actually a pretty interesting hand, because turn is gross when you get raised. I feel like we run into a monster that slowplayed the flop for whatever weird reason (cause fish love to slowplay wet boards when it makes no sense to). Maybe 55, but obv that's pretty rare. That being said, our hand just seems way too strong to fold to a minraise.

I really don't know that too many worse hands get it in vs our turn 3bet. J5 and T5 will, but thats a pretty small part of his range. I don't think any draws play a hand this way.

Your range analysis doesn't really make any sense though. You winning most of the pots has no correlation to the idea that "he could have an ace". Why wouldn't he bet an ace on the flop? Most people do, unless you have specific reads that he slowplays/pot controls top pair on wet boards and then overplays them weird on the river. If you have only 14 hands on villain, I'm guessing you don't have that read.

Your best line is probably to flat his turn raise and re-evaluate river.

yes, my range analysis does leave much to be desired. this guy was quite tight and psv, he knew to raise prf (mostly 3bb-4bb) but post-flop ch too much, imo. so evrytime he ch i raised, he folded. so i assumed, after 14 hands mind you, that he assumed that i was bluffing a lot, and when he had a good hand he would trap me.

so... i assumed that a lot of the time that good hand could also be TP. at the time this made a lot of sense to me.

though i do agree that i over-played this hand, but since these villains are really bad i mostly give them a wider range.

I like this exact line also. 3bet/getting it in on the turn has some merit though if you assume villain bets majority of his Ax+ hands on the flop. I feel villain will check back J5 and T5 a large amount of the time, and we crush those hands. So we're looking at a range of something like J5/T5/KQcc and KQdd (just to account for some slowplays). I think against that range we're doing OK enough, but at the same time we get value from J5/T5 anyway by check/calling the river.
