$75+$7

Stacks:
Hero (UTG) (316k)
UTG+1 (383k)
MP1 (237k)
MP2 (69k)
CO (77k)
BTN (313k)
SB (279k)
BB (225k)

Blinds: 8k/16k Ante 2k

Pre-Flop: (40k, 8 players) Hero is UTG Q♠ A♦
Hero raises to 32k, 5 folds, SB raises to 64k, 1 fold, Hero ???

I joined the table 7 hands ago. Villain is about $15k down on scope in 2.7k games $24 abi and that's all I know about him. I don't remember which event this was but starting stacks were 5k so it's kind of deep

His range is probably super strong... what's your shoving range?

I'd fold. If he's a losing player and minraises that would make me react as if he plays his top range here. I'd expect him to play the rest of his range (equally) poorly so hopefully I find a better situation to play in against him.

Yer this is snapfold.

I am interested in what we are continuing with I would say JJ+/AK. I probably personally shove AA/KK/AK/(QQ) but I might flat JJ,(QQ) depends on like his image and stuff to fold if A/K comes. What are others doing?

I mean personally I think it is little to be gained thrrough doing this but unless i've seen him doing really fishy stuff before and quite aggro I'm going to give him a lot of respect here, and at least playing the no A, no K game gives us some lower variance - but then his range could be super wide or could also be super tight _biggrin:

I'd surely shove JJ+ but not AK. IMO having a pair is way more valuable in this situation then having a hand that may or may not hit a strong pair postflop.

Yeah actually agree completely with you after thinking about it twice, our PPs have a lot more eq vs his range (which hopefully he else we should make some superman fold pre lol) of {AA/KK + 'crap'}

i'll more inclined to fold for this reasoning

i dont have shoving range here imo

i really think that u cant win if u fold :f_biggrin: so...

i'll always flat AA/KK/QQ (obv with QQ i'll fold if there is A/K on flop) in this spot and call all the way or do betting my self if he check

also i think i'll flat 88-JJ/AK most of the times (80%) call 1 barel on no A/K flops shove on some flops, maybe stack of on some turns if he shove, check behind on flops if he dont Cbet evaluate turns, call all the way stack off with AK if i hit top pair

and fold all other hands

we get an awful price to setmine and nowhere near enough implied odds:

my comprehensive flatting range: .

my shoving range (if you're getting folds in this spot, just tank a while before you shove): JJ+ AK

JJ is in there only because he's a retard some of the time, and just clicking buttons with TT. this is the closest hand

AK is in there because it's mf ACE KING!
