If you assume that you up against QQ+/77/TT/JJ only, you have 43% equity. You need to call $8.20 to a final pot of $19.20 (without 4.5% rake) and therefore have a break even equity of 42%. You have 43% against that range, so it's kind of close. 1% edge isn't that much. even if you think he plays like that with JT/J7/K:cQ:c/9:c8:c you have 45%

it's close, and coach always says that it's better to make a close fold than a close call, so if I estimated his range correctly, it would be a fold for me.

during game play, with no time to make this calculations, I would definetly go broke on the flop. We won't flop much better than that.

Hello qMantas,

Those stats don't tell me much. What about WTSD/W$SD? Do you expect him to capable of going broke here with worse draw/Jx hand? If you go for Check/Raise then of course this means you are going for value. :)
