Hey guys,
Are you ready for some action from our Team PokerStrategy.com members today? This will be the first event with our team members and full coverage from me in the forum.
Six of the will be playing in the $5k NL Hold'em event today and they are:
- Nazgul
- BongBob
- RobbieV
- Thorsten77
- Bokkie
- MikaPaasonen
The event is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM PST (7:00 PM GMT), and I will be bringing you hourly updates with pictures, interesting hands, interesting table talk and everything else you'd like to know.
Just post any questions or requests related to this event in this thread and I will do my best to get you what you want.
If you know of any other members that are also playing, post a message here and I will try to include them in my coverage too.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the starting stack is 15k and there are about 800 players registered after the first level. Late reg is still open.
Just got back from the first break with the players,

BongBob had doubled up in the very first hand. He got it all in on an A 5 4 flop, he had 55, villain had 44.
Thorsten said : "I made such a weak fold". He raised UTG, an older lady 3-bet him in MP, he 4-bet with AA and the lady called. The flop came K T x ♥:h, Thorsten77 bet out, the lady raised and Thorsten77 folded his pocket rockets.
MikaPaasonnen and Bokkie are supposed to be playing too, but I still can't find them.
Besides Nazgul's table, everyone seems to be very happy with their tables. They all think the competition is surprisingly soft in this event.

Nazgul lost a huge pot worth about 24k.
Villain opened and Nazgul flatted in position. The flop came 733 Rainbow and Nazgul flopped the nut boat.
I'm not sure what the action was on the flop, but they got it in on the turn. Villain checked, Nazgul bet out, villain went all in and Nazgul called. Villain showed an overpair TT, and a T came on the river to give villain a better full house.
Also saw Thorsten77 go all in with a relatively short stack, but he won the hand as villain folded to the pressure.
Thorsten made it 650 from UTG+2, villain 3-bet to 1,500 in the BB, Thorsten77 called.
The flop came 5:d 5:h 3:h and both hecked. The turn was 2:s, villain checked again, Thorsten decided to go all-in with his last 7,025 chips.
Villain tanked for some time, sighed, and moved around in his seat, and finally folded.
Finally, Andrew Robl got moved to RobbieV's table and is seated to his immediate left. Robl had an average looking stack.
I'm trying to upload more pictures but the internet connection here is really slow now for some reason.
Guess I will just have to do it when i get back to my hotel later tonight.

Players are on their 2nd 20 minute break now. When they return, it will be level 5 with blinds of 100/200 and 25 ante.
I finally found Bokkie, he came a bit late, and is now seated next to Liv Boeree. Will go hunt down MikaPaasonen after this.

Nazgul busto.
Nazgul was sent to the rails by the same player who rivered the better full house again him.
Villain raised from HJ, Nazgul made it 1,500, villain made it 4,500, Nazgul 50bets to 8,050 and villain goes all-in. JJ vs AA and the board came K:s 4:c 8:s 6:c 7:s.
Nazgul said he didn't think villain would make it 4,500 with AA, he put villain on something like AK.

Late reg has closed and we have 865 players in this event. The total prize pool is just over $4 million and I think the first prize is around $700k, will get the exact numbers to you in a bit.
I finally found MikaPaasonen and he has about 10k chips now.
