Ben Wilinofsky will attempt defend his title at the Grand Hyatt Hotel over the next six days. Last year he beat a field of 772 to take home a first prize of €825,000!
So far a number of Team PokerStars pros have confirmed that they will be playing in the event including 2011 WSOP Main Event champion Pius Heinz.

Unfortunately WSOP Main Event champion Joe Cada, Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso and Ivan Demidov will not participate in Berlin.
Let's shuffle up and deal - this is the start of day 1a of the EPT Berlin Main Event!
Jan Heitmann and Barry Greenstein are sitting at the same table, with barry having position on the german pro.
It's a pretty hard table with PokerStars pros Barry Greenstein, Martin Staszko and Jan 'Erdnase' Heitmann and Philipp 'philgruissem' Gruissem.
