Bootcamp with weazel was very interesting yesterday, talking about constructing preflop ranges ( btw there was some really interesting preparation for this class, esp. the modern eq and the "being ahead of the curve)
Would really recommend this video and bootcamp to all micro-cashgamers out there

I'll start by posting a few hands, all pretty standard ones i expect. In the future I'll also post some more creative or weird lines I took

hand 1: flopped bottom set multi on drawy board

hand 2: flopped FH slowplaying

hand 3 I was again a lucky again trips

hand 4: cbetting dry board with A high

Just a quick update on my first steps on NL25 with my brandnew hud ( was taking shots without Hud before) from last 3 days
volume is bit low, but often only play 2 zoom tables now instead of 4, and been studying alot [bootcamp]

redline is going down a bit, sometimes i still play a bit with "scared money" I guess, gotta work on gameplan for 3bet/4bet/5bet situations
whenever I go for ultrathin value on river, like 1 or 2 bb, villains always call so they won't help me getting my redline up

most of my poker time is going to study right now, but result over small sample is still good (6 buyins up in ev, 5,5 buyin up in green line over 2,7k hands last 4 days, giving me 21evbb/100 thank you beginners luck
certainly nice to have a bit of an upswing here, cause is I had lost same amount in buyins I would probably have to move down to NL10 again. At least now I have sort of an extra buffer

seem to be making big mistakes still, esp. early on in session ( eg when I hit set and still stack of even if it is obvious villain has a straight) after my first mistake I usually get back to my A-game, it's like I still have to switch of my NL2 mindset

-hoping that despite of my errors ( and I still make alot of them), villains just make more errors than I do, and not that I'm just lucky now. hard to tell over such small sample of course, but thanx to bootcamp I'm hoping to improve my game (or make it just half decent for that matter), so by the time bad luck strikes hopefully my game will be bit better
really like w34z3ls approach to the game, and considering to get a video review done by him, or a few hours of coaching

gonna start on homework on iso-raising ranges, still see open limping a lot here, thought that would have almost been non-existing at this level, but luckily I'm wrong, and there is still a lot of fish.

gonna go trough my database now, and pbb post some more hands for review
hopefully I'll get feedback from one of you guys, if not I' m pbb posting the hands I really find worth while in the hand evaluation forum, and post the feedback here, if nothing else it will be easier for me to find all my reviewed hands

my thoughts on the iso-ranges (bootcamp homework) until now:

-4x or 5x depending on stacksizes( better smaller is we want small stack to pot ratio, like hands with more implieds and how fishy villain is ( if he calls superwide we can make smaller isorange with bigger sizing
-take postflop expectation in consideration 2. if villain is folding to much to cbets, we can use wider range and larger sizing
-more iso if you are in position
-still use hands with decent equity, as villain will not fold easy to bluffs
-use the standaard openranges from that postion, and put some more equityhands in

after 9k hands 5bb/100, but evbb is only around 1.8
Not really crushing this level , but still happy to be around after 9k hands, loss was never bigger than 30$, my expected loss never below 10$, so I can keep this shot at NL25 going
I do notice my winrate going up when only 1 or 2 tabling zoom, often do 2-tabling now after study
also I'll play some NL10 to try and let bankroll grow

Main focus is now still study, and my game seems to improve, become less bad that is

Hud config now:
VPIP/PFR/3bet/fold to 3bet/ fold to 4bet
late position steal/ fold to steal/ 3bet steal / fold to 3bet after steal/ number hands
cbet flop/fold to flop cbet/ cbet turn/ fold to cbet turn/af/rfi

still have to catch up on bootcamp about hud: maybe I'll change it afterwards

In your HUD, do you just have a general RFI stat (the last stat on your HUD)?

I don't think that makes much sense as it doesn't really give you that much information. It would be much better to just remove that and get an extra line on your HUD with RFI for every position imo, or maybe put it in a pop up though I prefer it on my HUD directly.

That can give you very useful information right off the bat without having to go into your popups which takes time. You can get information like a rough idea of villain's opening range and whether or not he's positionally aware (which you can use to tell if he's possibly a fish/weak reg).

So that's just an idea

hey tino, thx for feedback on the hud, the rfi stat is kinda new to me, was just using it as kind of a general indicator, prob not the best way
Play fullring so don't know if I can cram all that extra info on positions in hud, just getting used to this configuration
but your probably right, will def look into that, too bad Bogdan coaching about hud is not available (yet i hope)

another issue is my small sample size, still new on zoom NL25, eg I use Late position steal stats and not Bu or CO stats because the lp steal gets significant over smaller number of hands. guess with the rfi I was kinda following same logic

maybe I'll use positional awareness stat as solution for now, because right now, I have little use for this stat (rfi) i have to admit

Hmm yeah, didn't think about the fact that it might be a bit too much on FR

In the end you should just configure your HUD how you think is best for you so you can always try some things out and if you find you don't like it or you feel you can remove something or need to add something, you can do that. There's a fair bit of trial and error involved

Indd, my hud is still work in progress, as sample grows and my own game improves I plan to make changes to it

note to self: must remember that playing at 1 at night is not the same as 1 in afternoon. Noticed that in the evening NL10 was a joke, villains stacking of top pair weak kicker stuff. This afternoon took me about 100 hands to loose all profit again to regs, then had to adjust and slowly grind it back
In general I must work on distinguishing between fish and regs, as "population reads" goes I think villains are way more fishier in evening ( prob also weekends)

my NL10 graph for last 2 days, the downfall was when i just started playing this afternoon

after 15k hands at Nl25 was about 5buyin up, ev was bit lower, was 4-tabling for most time

been playing 6max today for first time, since I came from tournaments FR seemed logical choice, however it seems there are more people playing SH now, so if I ever want to get higher on zoom tables this seems right time to adapt
also, there seems to be more vids and articles about SH, will help me to play more postflop ,..

for my first day and 5k hands i got 5buyin on NL10 6max, hope i can continue this goodrun, Really like 6max more then FR, after one day already

general update: will not be playing alot this month, mostly will be practicing my 6max at 10nl, and rewatching weazel guide to micro
will give an update at end of month
if I can get a 5bb/100 hands winrate there and a semidecent sample size ( like 15k hands), I'll make switch to NL25 again at end of month

@SDK thx for comment, things were going pretty decent at FR NL25, but winrate was around 1,5bb/100 after about 20k hands so needed some improvement

decided to make switch to 6max, alot more action there, so If I ever wanted to go up to 100NL, seemed better to make transition now, also a lot more strategy about 6max
because 6max is new to me I'm going back to NL10 to learn

@Luca thx for feedback, here are other stats, there are not really useful I guess because I lately changed style a bit to get my redline fixed, so these stats are a mix of 2 playing styles ( redline did improve after I bet river for thin value instead of checking behind as I did too often)

wtsd: 30
won at showdown: 57 ( a bit to high I guess)
positional awarness: 2.7

agf per street is stat i cant find right now in Pt4, but I'll sure look into that if I have more time
