Starting this blog post to join the Bankroll Building challenge. Going to keep this simple, and reporting here would likely help me to maintain focus on improving my game.

My starting roll would be a measly $5, and will be starting at NL2 SH NLHE, trying to reach 30 BI for NL50.

Goals for next week:
- Watch confidant91 week 4 and 5 videos on SH play.
- Go out and run at least 5k every single day.
- Play at least 3-4 hours a day of poker.
- Get a grade 10 score on my Physics test on Thursay.

Let's see how this would go, hopefully it will become an inspiring journey for everyone.

Welcome to the 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' bankroll challenge. we will be looking forward to your first update which you should post by Monday of each week in Get Rich or Die Tryin' - The Bankroll Challenge - Reporting thread.

2.5 BIs ? If you do succeed, I for one would be inspired. Tankroll BRM FTW. :fuckyeah:

Have fun :gl:

I'm buying in full 100bb hardcore. When able to, of course.

Will probably take shots at NL5 and NL10 at around 10 BI. Depends on how my mindset is at the moment that (if it does) reaches.

Up the volume, and at a point after checking the graphs I got so low, almost went busto again. Managed to finish the day with a small loss, running 3 BI below EV. So it's all good. <3

Yeah it would be sweet, and hopefully a good motivation for everyone.

Also, I got this side bet going on, and reaching the $1,5k is going to net me some extra sweet cash.

Quit my session today because I felt like I was going down pretty bad, and couldn't decide if was lady luck or my game. Reviewing the hands and everything, felt like variance just passed by to make a visit.

$EV doesn't actually tell the true story here, because I did found a pretty amount of passive players just calling until hitting 3-4 outers on the river. Although I know it happens, this bit of frustration is enough for me to quit for the day, in a sad note. Back to red zone.

Last session results:
Hands: 2,430
Profit: -$11.76
Profit (EV adjust): +$1.17

Overall
Hands: 6,846
Profit: -$2.87

That’s painful. Than you need to start over again with only $2,13 left.
Hopefully you will run good again this week. Good luck :gl:

That's life though. I keep my head held up high.

Some days you are up, others you are down. I just stopped the session because I felt it was starting to affect my game, when I came to realize how much down I had been, it hurted a bit (especially when looking at the EV line).

But rinse, repeat, study hard, and don't ever give up.

Nice. Hopefully you get a safe bankroll fast. So you don’t get in the danger zone again :f_wink:

That's the spirit. It happens, when I reach the goal it will make the Journey even more of an inspiration. <3

Yesterday not much time playing at the tables. Took some time to read/watch about post-flop game in order to improve, and as a result lady variance gave me a huge break. Today it will be tough to find time to grind, but hopefully I'll manage to make a couple of sessions.

Yesterday
Hands: 677
Profit: +$10.91

Overall
Hands: 8,924
Profit: +$14.06

Yesterday didn't played at all, took a day off to chill, drink some beers and have fun with my friends. Today whole different story.

My plan is for tomorrow don't spend any part of my grinding hours studying and just play to see how it goes, hopefully lady variance sticks close to me as it has been the past couple of sessions.

Today
Hands: 1,194
Profit: +$6.62

Overall
Hands: 10,119
Profit: +$20.71

Well that's 5 times 5 already. Only 295 to go.
