Hi,
My name is David 29 years old (Dawid In fact as I’m polish but been living in UK for 4 years and cannot bear how they pronounce “w” here) so let it be like that for the blog purposes. I beg your pardon for any mistakes here as after all English is not my mother tongue.
I’ve been involved in poker for quite a while even before coming to UK. I played live poker for a while abut since being in relationship now is not quite possible.
After making quite good money from live poker and investing this money into flat in London I started from the scratch (like NL2 and $50)and decided to dedicate myself to online poker (as you can do it anywhere and anytime without sacrificing your social life)
Now I managed to hit the $300 mark today by playing after work really irregularly.
I have set up this blog to track my progress, take part in Bankroll challenge and finally start to put some hands here so people may advise me and through that I hope to improve even further.
Despite poker being part of my life for a bit I still know how much I have to learn and how much there is to do until my dream of making a living from it comes true.
So this is for the start. I will try to update it after each session and follow the bank roll Challenge requirements.
As for a challenge here is my Bankroll currently:
And here is chart from Holdem manager
Chart is not including all my sessions (I got a problem with HM at some point) and is showing more or less 40k of most recent hands. The little drop came when I changed from NL2 to NL5 (always happen to me when going up) and there are two things that I’m concerned with it at the moment:
• Red non showdown line (I guess that is what happens with it at micros)
• Difference between EV All-in and Net winnings- As it shows that I am on a little bit of an upswing at the moment. Nonetheless I have been on both sides of the variance and this is the side that I enjoy a bit more to be honest
As for the BR Challenge I want to have BR of 1500$ from $300 Which I will achieve within next 200k hands. I do not know if this is doable or if I should adjust it but I’m more than open to any suggestions.
I play NL Holdem on Pokerstars Full ring on 9 tables.
As for a title of the blog it was just what my Granny used to say which is one of the things that sticked with me whole my life.
So lets the fun begin.
I will post the sum up of week 1 on Sunday together with hands which I would like to analyze.
Any suggestions are more than welcomed.
