I sucked out on AA with QQ BvB, which is why im above EV.

I pretty much never do these kind of bluffs (for good reason), but i thought i could force him off an AQ or AT type hand on the river. These hands are probably not valuebetting the river though.

This was a TOUGH spot. I tanked long and hard on the turn when i got raised. Would appreciate an analysis from a good cash player here.

On NL5 and NL10 the turn is for me an easy fold. Even back in the day, the great BalugaWhale invented the "baluga theorem" which says that facing a turn raise (and imo, especially in a 3way pot where people play more honestly), muck all 1 pair type of hands... At NL2 though, I think the call might be okay, because people are a bit more spazzy and random. Folding is never going to be a bad option here though.

PS; If you want to get called by a worse flush OTR you should probably bet smaller! I think this large bet will isolate yourself to get called by mainly better flushes!

Put in another session tonight that went much better, although i made two bad calls at the end that made me a bit mad, so i cut the session short to prevent tilting.

There is some discrepancy in the graph from this. I think it's a bit bugged with the hand reporting. I recently got the trial for HM2 and I intend to start tracking hands through that software for the coming month as it allows better analysis. I cant import the old handhistories though as they seem to have vanished I'll probably end up starting a new DB in HM2 and starting fresh from that. Considering that the last two sessions were horrible it might feel nice with a fresh start.

Goal for this week: Play 10,000 hands 2tabling nl2z while playing my A-game

The results of 9 hours of grinding. The first few hours were similar to yesterday, just not winning any showdowns and getting sucked out on (i was slightly above all in EV, but the amount of times they hit on the river and got payed off... ) . Then around hand 5000 the win-switch was flipped and i started hitting sets and preflop allins with AA. Upswings are fun

I notice that i am not completely comfortable defending againt 3bets with marginal broadways like AQo or KQs. It's just hard to know where you stand. Same goes for hands like TT/JJ on a low board in a 3bet pot. Do i raise his halfpot cbet? Call? And if the turn blanks and he fires again? I also need to read up more on coldcalling hands like AJo/KQs against a raiser. I don't think it's profitable to call just to hit your cards, but which flops to you make a move on?

Overall i'm happy with today. A few mistakes, but 4tabling helps with the tilt-prevention as i don't have time to think about the hands i lose.

I've been trying some 2tabling zoom and 2tabling normal tables lately. It's slow, but I can really focus on making good decisions about my opponents, and taking a bunch of notes on them. The winrate seems really high, but the volume is a bit low. I think rotating between the two is going to be good for my game.

I didn't adhere to the 2tabling part of my goal, as I am getting more comfortable 4tabling. I did play pretty well overall though, but there are still spots i can work on (i'm a calling station :f_mad:). Happy with the volume i put in, should be sustainable, although slightly less as school is starting this week.

This week I want to focus on 5NL. If i go below $100 i'll go down to 2NL again and grind it up to $115 before taking another shot. It's conservative, but it feels safer that way

My current shot is up $9 Time to get lunch and study turn/river plays and especially 3bet pots. Those suck.
