It sounds good. Maybe the https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=325001 promo is something for you to challenge yourself with the bankroll challenge.

Further I wish you all the best with improving your cash game and tournament skills :gl:

Cheers,

In terms of BRM, a professional approach for cash games is 100 BIs, however if you are able to replenish your bankroll in case you go busto then you then you can a bit aggressive, i.e. 25-50 BIs per limit. The key to success is good BRM. I play MTTs and use 200-300 BRM (depending on network) due to higher variance.

That 100 BI's sound a bit extreme at the micros. I think you will do fine with 30-40 buy-in bankroll. You can take a shot at NL5 for example when you have 30 buy-ins and if you fall back to 25 buy-ins you go back to NL2.

As I said, 100 BIs is professional approach. If he is able to replenish his bankroll, he can go aggressive.

I think play with a deep BRM on micro is not good. After NL10 will play with 70-80 BI.

Hu omani,

welcome to our challenge! If you don't mind, as per rule of our challenge I increased your goal to our minimum of $1.000 :-) Seeing your first update, it means that you probably will not take sooo much time to finish it anyways!

PS: for the hand - against a minraise preflop I have difficulties with the spot. Clearly i have the odds for calling, but I can't expect any really good flop. On the other hand 3betting will get you in a lot of out of position trouble.
As played I would probably bet/fold the river half pot.
