G'day all, I'm Matt.... 28 from South Australia. Started playing poker about 8 months ago. Have played at least 20 hours per week online since the beginning. Have had some good results.... although my patience is my biggest downfall. I read and watch as much of the game as I can. Any other south aussies on here?? Cheers, Matt
played limit and pot limit for a while until i understood the game a little more. Playing no-limit now... mostly MTT and SNG's. Have cashed afew times... looking to take my game way up to higher levels!!!! haha.. Have played at casino 4 times, and left with 200+ dollars profit 3 out of the 4 times.. Can't wait to keep improving.
Hey mrnui97,
As you are looking to play mostly SnGs I can highly recommend 4 things:
#1) Head over to the video section and watch some videos: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/sng/
There are quite a few low level SNG videos by Unam, Chenny and Helemaalnicks when you get to bronze status which will help show you if you are doing things right or not.
#2) Download the ICM Trainer Light and the normal ICM Trainer: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/software/
Practice your ICM - its important for understanding key principles of playing late phase SNGs ![]()
#3) Get involved in the SNG hand evaluation forum: https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/board.php?boardid=1429
This a place where you will fix your leaks and start to think about critical situations.
#4) Check out our coaching schedule: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/coaching/
We have several live SNG coachings a week where you can watch the pros play and ask questions. A very good method for improving
If you do these things you will be able to move up the limits safely and with improving knowledge ![]()
Best regards
-Steve
G'day Matt,

Always good to see there more Aussies in the community. I haven't been that active for a while, but I've got a second wind and my game is picking up.....sloooowly.....
