i understand the basic concepts of small ball poker, raising to steal the blinds alot when first in, throwing out alot small cbets with nothing, playing the same with monsters in the hope of getting paid off when u got one.
however, in crappy home games its common (at least my ones) for most of the players to limp, in a 6 or 8 handed game, if im on the cutoff, maybe only one person would have folded when the action gets to me. if i raise ill probably get 4 callers, meaning a cbet with air is alot more risky (and unlikely to work).
my question is, seeing as these players would be perfect to use small ball against, if only there werent many limpers always in, is there a way to use this? or should i throw the strategy out entirely?
anyone with experience in average homegame SNGs would know what im talking about
