The tables have been kind to me today. Monster hands set against monsterish hands. Aces versus Kings; Kings versus Queens; sets versus top pairs with top kickers; turning flushes all day long...

The tables will be unkind to me tomorrow, no doubt, but for now (and including Friday's rakeback from the good people at FTP) I am able to say truthfully that my bankroll has grown by over $1000 from where it stood this morning. An amount it took me seven months to earn from when I started. In one day.

Very nice,congrats. This should be the ending to a poker movie where the star finnaly realises that variance is part of the game ..probably with some pew pew pew bad/mafia guys and a pretty girl :f_cool:

Best mtt result this year: 379th in Sunday Storm for $ 543
Best ever (online): ( biggest single cash ever $ 2258.40 in a $ $ 11 deepstack mtt for 2nd place)
Goal this year get my bankroll to $ 5000 through mtt's and stt's

Thanks for the nice thoughts, guys. Of course I expect the downswing to begin any minute. Not that it would be exactly "fair" since, as you can see, I've been battling -EV for almost my entire cash game history (and still haven't quite caught up):
