Hello! I am 22 years old from kazakhstan.
In this blog I am intending to post graphs, interesting hands and maybe some other things.

Currently I am playing NL 10 zoom.

Also I am interested to to chat, discuss strategy with other poker players. If you are feeling interest in this too, write here or pm me, so we will exchange skypes. Your poker skills and playing limit don't matter to me much:s_grin:.

NL 5zoom, that I was playing 6 month ago:

Despite having an aspiration of playing high stakes and makingmillions of poker, I almost don't play it. Last time, before past few weeks, I played somewhere in January, and before that maybe last autumn:f_wink:. Overally I know poker rules for 2 years and during that time played less hands than most people here playing in a month.

So here is graph of last 2 weeks of july, that I played NL10zoom on pokerstars:

I will try to make habit of playing and studying poker daily stick with me. You will see here how it will work out.

1. The biggest recent won:
Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

UTG: $15.19 (151.9 bb)
MP: $11.34 (113.4 bb)

Results:

Spoiler

$27.43 pot ($1.23 rake)

UTG showed T♥: T♣: and lost (-$13.64 net)
Hero showed J♠: J♦: and won $26.20 ($12.56 net)

I think it might be even very good how this dude played his tens on the river. He blocks a bunch of combos of possible rivered straight, he might fold out sets of me, and after calling his turn donk on such wet board, my range is anyway kinda capped.

2. Biggest loss of recent times:
Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $21.36 (213.6 bb)
BB: $8.71 (87.1 bb)
UTG: $10.66 (106.6 bb)
MP: $10.20 (102 bb)
CO: $25.57 (255.7 bb)
Hero (BTN): $23.08 (230.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q♠: Q♥:
2 folds, CO raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, 2 folds, CO raises to $2.50, Hero raises to $23.08 and is all-in, CO calls $20.58

Flop: ($46.31) 2♠: 8♠: 5♣: (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Turn: ($46.31) J♥: (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($46.31) J♦: (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$46.31 pot ($1.50 rake)
Final Board: 2♠: 8♠: 5♣: J♥: J♦:
CO showed K♦: K♣: and won $44.81 ($21.73 net)
Hero showed Q♠: Q♥: and lost (-$23.08 net)

When I pushed I hadn't noticed that we are deep, otherwise I'd call.

Hi altairsky,

also welcome to the challenge from my side!
I guess you are the first one with such a strange goal of $1234 - but maybe it brings good luck with it?

The QQ-hand ...ouch! For me it is not even in BU-BB or in CO vs BU an Allin. Maximum SB vs BB as a standard, but certainly not deep.

Why didnt you 3bet those Jacks ?
It turned out well but I am curious.

Yeah those QQ happens to me all the time too.
Most of the 4bets are either KK or AA.
I also dont know how to play that anymore, because the 4bet volume is generally really low.

Thank you for the kind words guys!

As for QQ hand, I think in BUvsCO it is both correct options to call 4bet and to 5bet QQ in a vacuum in 100 bb stacks. But it is of course only 3bet/call in deep stacks. But as I said I wasn't paying attention to stack sizes there.

I won't agree with you Mar0 that most 4bets AA and KK. I don't play very much, but from what I see most regs on NL10zoom have 4bet bluffing range. Players that 4bet polarised range sure have only AA, KK as a value part of their range from EP and MP. Also some players use more linear 4 betting ranges and include in 4betting range QQ and AK even from EP.
Most of 5bets, though, is tight value range. It seems regs don't do it on NL10 as bluff.
But I am playing only zoom on pokerstars. On different sites population tendencies could be different.

JJ is standart call BUvsEP for me. There is many reasons for this: not allow cold calling range to become way too weak, not isolate myself against way too strong range that will call 3bet, and I don't deny seeing flop for the most combos of hands that hold 2 overcards to JJ, since they usually won't fold on 3 bet anyway... Also Snowie calls JJ here most of the time. Although, I don't think 3betting JJ is worse play. It depends on how your entire range is composed.

I will put report for this and last week together in the monday. To be honest my bankroll is not going through the good times now. I have withdrawn 120$ for my various needs, including repair of my notebook (btw I haven't bought new, I've repaired the old one). So I dropped to NL5, but it is not going well there currently: I lost several buy-ins in couple thousands hands.
