That’s a long story. I think it would be wise to make more paragraphs in your text. Then it’s easier to read for everyone.
Don’t forget to post the right information in our https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=2519011#post2519011 thread. Otherwise we don’t know what your goal is.
Further I wish you all the best with improving your game and your challenge ![]()
Cheers,

Hello Marek,
Welcome to the forums.
Squash it a really good game. I play it because I am rubbish at tennis (I can't keep the ball in the court. So the walls are helpful)
Good luck with your poker journey and I look forward to reading future updates.
My regards
Matt
Hi SDK,
im not very much writter ,so im pretty happy that i even got myself to write this blog .. But im sure you are right , if ill have time today i will try to edit it ..
thanks for reply anyways ![]()
have a good day
Damn man, just recently I was wondering how a person can fall to such debts (after meeting a guy who had 200k debt). It's unbelievable to me. You're lucky you got yourself from that, keep that up.
I'm from Czech so It's interesting to see stories like this happen in a "proximity".
Maybe I'll get some inspiration from you as I am totally the opposite of you (strictly avoiding gamble, casinos, playing it safe, microstakes, always keeping open doors everywhere, never dealt with shady people) and mainly playing safe poker for several years without any real impact.
Good luck
Read it all, very interesting. I had myself a small degen time by nothing compared to you. The pit is awful. Everything in a casino is thought to make u lose money.
Anyways, usually once adegen always a degen, hope I'm wrong, good luck I will follow. Also Thailand everything is cheap, easy to go degen so watch out
Hey thanks for reading
yea everything is cheap ,but no live casinos in Thailand so that should be quite easy :)) anyways we will see ,but right now i can proudly say that im "clean" for almost 12months ,so i hope thats everything just past for me.. But you are right once a degen always a degen.
Thanks for welcome anyways
Today i opted in a get rich or die trying challenge
im gonna go and play NL50 with starting roll 1000usd
my goal will be 5000 USD including bonuses and whatever
since i hate zoom and i think its cancer of poker im gonna stick only to regular 6max tables
probably gonna play 6-8 tables
when i hit 3000usd roll i will take a shot on NL100 with 5BI stoploss
im gonna update the blog almost every 3-4days how im doing
since poker is my main source of income im gonna try to put a lot of hours during this challenge (hope to do atleast 45 hours a week, maybe 50-55)
so please wish me good luck and i hope to have a good time ![]()
see ya all and work hard !:)
hi Mareccc90, how is it going the first day in the challenge? up to 55 hours sounds like you are very serious about it! How much time do you invest in improving your game & staying up to date with game dynamics?

Its gonna be tough i believe ,but i have good positive thinking and i wanna do this challenge as quickly as possible..about studying i set to myself that every 10hours of play i study 2hours ,by studying i mean making notes and reviewing hand histories ,but also talking about hands on forums.
My first day of challenge is starting right now ,this week i think im not gonna do so much hours since im starting on Wednesday.. we will see ![]()
![]()
btw: i posted yesterday that i wanna participate in that challenge, but i didnt get any answer since yesterday.. i can see that you are headadmin ,so u might help me out with it or?
No worries Mareccc, we take new additions to the challenge and the weekly report automatically. So, you are in! It is a bit time consuming to browse through all the replies, hence we don't really reply to every single post. (but I am reading all blog posts of all participants 95% of time)
See you & GL at the table!
Hi guys ,
so i wanna make little post about last week results..
So my first week in get rich or die challenge was unfortunate for me ,because i got sick and i didnt have energy to play so i stayed in bed for almost all week long and played only 2days what resulted in only 4076 hands and 5,5hours of play.
Anyways i won 3 buyins so lets say it was okish ![]()
Some hands i would like to discuss with you guys:
1. I think standart preflop call from me ,but weird line from villian ,is there any chance of folding the river from my perspective? what should we put him on ? villian is 19/13 and 3bet 2,3

So guys see ya till next update of my poker life
Hi! Very interesting blog here (yes, I read it all)!
Hand 1: Considering how he played all streets, I think he could have alot of bluffs with A-high OTR. On the other hand, he looks very tight and I wouldn't expect this kind of player to bluff very often. It's close, but I think I would also bluffcatch.
Hand 2: There are no many hands in his range we can get value from OTR imo, but there is still a small chance that he was slowplaying KK/QQ preflop with which he would be villing to call a small bet OTR, or maybe he would be villing to call with something like AdTd. So, overall, I think a tiny (like 1/4 - 1/3) value bet is possible, but we would have to fold vs a raise, which would be annoying.
So, both hands are close, but well played imo.
About hand 2:
I think that this is a spot where most check back river in your position. T otr hits some of his bluff raise range like 9T,8T or ATdd,Txdd etc.
I would bet quite big here, close to pot because in villains eyes your range has a lot of busted draws and then Jx which is not that likely when there is 2 blockers on the board, he should be herocalling/leveling a call with his pair hands.

According to that hand number 2 i just think that KK/QQ is possible sometimes ,but do you think he will slowplay it OOP from BB? and x/r that heavy drawy flop? im not that sure that someone would take this line with hand like KK QQ

Ok that i understand ,but dont u think that he will check all of his fullhouses and also all busted hands ? Mainly because i could have JX and bet or i could river straight and bet or i could bet when i missed. I mean for me in this spot is either he missed or he has got me beat.. just my opinion

I don't think he will very often, but there is a small chance he will - trying to trap you preflop and then wanted to protect vs draws and get value with check/raising the flop while he is probably still ahead. I believe those will be a very small portion of his river range, but still possible. Hands like AdTd, KdTd, QdTd and maybe AsTs, KsTs, QsTs are more probable and will maybe call a small bet OTR.
