Hey everyone how's it going,
Want to start this blog to join the https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=1953483#post1953483 forum, share some hands, poker stories, laughs, ... I want to keep it light and positive!
To keep it Short and sweet!
Elwin from NZ, been playing poker for years, thought I'd make it more serious in 2017. From NL2 to NL100 in 1 year. Want to make poker a part-time income. I have a background in Direct Sales, which is all about setting goals and keeping up your attitude. Therefore I'll put my goals for 2017 in the SMART format:
Specific: NL2 to NL100 ($25 to $2500) Moving up with 25-30 buy-ins moving down with less 20 buy-ins
Measurable: Money up or down
Accountable: Using this blog to keep myself accountable. GF is all good with playing poker as long as I'm winning! In the spirit of happy wife happy life ... I'll have to win!
Reachable: As long as I don't see it as impossible, It's reachable!
Time Frame: 31/12/2017 Move up every 2 months and I'm at NL100. Play an average of 7500hands/week.
I've started tracking on 30/12/2016 with +/- $55 in the BR I'm at $89,44 on Stars, started with $25 mid-December. Goal for January is to Move up to NL5, so have $150!
I'll keep you posted!
