Aight fellas, this is my Blog for "Get Rich or Die Tryin' - The Bankroll Challenge"

Not gonna bother u with a long biography, just a few facts: 29 years old / former MTT grinder / got 3-4 months with no obligations / grinding Zoom

The last few years i barely played Poker, am back since december tho. And this is how my graph looks so far:

NL2,5,10

Spoiler

My primary goal is to beat NL10 untill 1st May 2017.
Secondary goal is to play at least 15k hands per week.
For now ill be Playing NL2&5 6max Zoom 1-4 tables, depending on my energy level.
Im planning to collect the StarsCoins and buy a coaching when i got enough of them. Maybe u guys can suggest me a good coach for micros.
Also if ur interested in a Sweat, let me know.

- Starting Bankroll: 204.71$
- Goal: 1025$

Spoiler

Thats it so far. Lets grind! :f_thumbsup:

Hey NineSevenSuited, good luck with your goals :f_drink:

65k hands is a good sample to make an analysis if you want to post your Stats maybe we can identify some leaks. From the graphs I can see your 3bet and maybe cbet can be improved.

The most popular coach right IMO now is weasel or maybe Asimos.

Thx mate! Really appreciate any input to improve my game :f_drink:

At the beginning my 3bet was very low, like 3.5% but for the last 20k hands i managed to improve it to 6.4%. In that 65k hands graph are also Fullring and Regular table hands, so this are the stats for zoom 6max only (49k hands):

Spoiler

From Top to bottom its SB,BB,EP,MP,CO,BTN and overall.
My W$SD% is pretty low, gotta stop overplaying TPs and calling river raises :f_mad:

Edit: Uhm dunno why the stats are so small, i can barely see em after i posted.

I always use Right Click and open photos in a new tab that fix the things for me

didnt know about that
so do u see any other obvious leaks besides W$SD?
i mean prolly i should open more from co/btn.
dunno what a good 4bet stat is. might be to low also.

4-bet-range = 4-bet-stat * PFR

A player like you with a PFR of 17.3% and a 4-bet-stat of 5.75% has a 4-bet-range of 1%. That means AA and KK.
I have the same 4bet like you in my stats also.
I´m not sure how accurate is this, I found the formula here on the forum.

I was looking for more info´s about 4 bet and I finished reading like 10 pages of theory on the internet and... I´m still not sure how high should be this stat.

Week 1:
- Hands: 15339 (PT4 didnt track over 300 hands somehow)
- Profit: $4.84 ($9.51 from Jacks or better & The Deal Jackpot. $4.67 at the tables.)
- Starting Bankroll: $204.71
- Current BR: $209.55
- Goal: $1025

So the 1st week went pretty good. I was up 23$ at the tables till yesterday evening. Then i realized that i didnt reach my 15k hands per week goal yet. Didnt really feel like playing since i was drinking the night before and had a hangover. Still opened 4 zoom tables to grind in the last 2k. Very bad idea. Lost about 28$ in those 2k hands. Not gonna happen again tho! ill rather play 13k hands per week with my a-game, than forcing myself to grind 4 tables zoom with my c-game just for the sake of volume.

weasels walkthrough is a good thing to go with - I saw many positive comments! Don't forget to tune into his live coaching sessions.

Regarding the hands you posted: I would recommend you to post less but with more comments or specific questions. If I see ONE tough spot with a good question, i am as an average user more likely to reply and start a discussion.

Thx for ur advices Sven :f_drink:

Indeed the walkthrough is really helpful. Learned quite a bit about postflop strategy, which my gameplan was definetly lacking. 3 more Episodes to go.

A hand from today which is pretty standard till the River, where i decide to x/c to let him bluff. Thats prolly not a smart move, cuz after calling 2 barrels he doesnt really have bluffs left in his range. Also i wont get more value from other Aces, since they most likely just check behind. So maybe b/f would be better here?! Hope someone wants to comment on my analysis and tell his opinion :f_thumbsup:

Ran 2 Stacks under EV this week but im pretty satisfied with my game. Still a lot to improve and ive found a HUGE leak.

Spoiler

Filtered the spots where i called river bets & raises. I knew before that im calling way too much with TPTK and stuff, but didnt realize that it has costed me so many stacks already. So now i made 2 pieces of paper with "Never call River Raises without Nuts" written on them and put em on my desk. Hope it will help :f_thumbsup:

Small Update:
Played only 2k hands since sunday, cuz i was busy working through some strategy videos and reduced my table count to 2 zoom tables.
Anyway i made a good Profit. Got my BR to 258$ and was able to take a shot at NL10 earlier today.
Got it in with QQvsKK on 964r iirc and lost a stack. Lost a few more hands and went back to NL5. That didnt go to well neither :f_ugly:
So now my BR is at 241$. Gonna take the next shot when im at 250$ and move down when i lose 3 BIs. Maybe tomorrow.

Also i got to know a cool fella from Pokerstrategy.de, he plays way higher and was so nice to check my stats and let me sweat him :f_thumbsup:
Seeing him play, i realized that i still got a lot of things to learn and even repeat some of the basic stuff, if i wanna move up.
He tried to explain most of his plays, but there were stilll too many Spots where i was just like "dafuq is he doing and why" :f_biggrin:

Tomorrow ill try to increase my Volume and start reading a Mindest book. Not sure yet which one tho.

Thx sven :)

After one of my last sessions i was wondering why i was missing so many hands in PT4. So i checked if the PokerStars client at least saved the HandHistories correct and found out that for some reason, it doesnt save 10-15% of my hands for evry session. Which is kinda annoying and i dont really know how to deal with that. The Client lets u manually request max last 200 hands. It really suxx when u have to pause ur session after evry +-175 hands to request the missing hands.
Maybe someone knows how to fix that or how to request more than those 200 hands?

Anyway GL all in the Weekend Grind :f_drink:

What can i say, although i didnt reach most of my goals for last week, my BR grew a lot :f_biggrin:
Ive spent quite some time fine tuning my Ranges and Post-Flop Play at the expense of Volume. As u can see in the graph it was totally worth it.
So ive been crushing NL5 and finally got my Redline going up.
On the other hand i had to realize that NL10 aint going very well so far.

Spoiler

Actually my BR is big enough now to play NL10 only, but i dont feel really comfortable at that limit yet.
So prolly ill keep playing my warmup sessions on NL5 and when im "in the zone", ill move up to NL10.
Would appreciate any suggestions/advices for moving up a limit. Maybe someone could to tell how they handle moving up.

Goals for week 4:
- 12.500 hands
- 5 Sessionreviews (at least 30min each)
- Write notes 5 days (45min/day)
- Eightfold Path to Poker Enlightment (at least 3 Episodes)
- Stat review at the weekend
- Update Blog 3 time (Blog Job)
