Hey Tim, yes the bankroll was pretty negligible as we started at 2nl, with 10 stacks, but yes my friend paid that. I don't think I'm good enough yet to move up any higher, so that's why I'm building everything from the ground up.

Hey thanks Agapie! Yes I'll need lots of coffee to get through the limits I think

I think I will mix some zoom in eventually, but I'm not playing on stars, so there's not always very big player pools at zoom. I'll wait until I'm beating my stakes on regular tables before I mix zoom in though if I do, because I'll have less time to think

Today's play was kind of not great but I played OK I think.

2) This was an adjustment I made against a maniac. He joined the table about 12 hands earlier and his first hand open shoved. Every other hand he had 3bet the pf opener. I'd also seen him showdown Q4 in his 3bet range.

Btw, you're results today are very similar to mine today! That first hand you showed, I had exactly the same situation, Trips against a maniac, who flopped a fullhouse. And some other similar coolers, so I, like you gained +EV today but lost two stacks

Hmmm been a bit of a grind past few sessions, as I can't seem to win much at NLH

This week i've played: 5007 hands of 2nl and 4nl and 5nl NLH.
I've also played some HUSNGS: a mix of 5 and 10 euro - I've played 50 of those this week.

P/L: at poker: + €9.94
P/L: at sngs: + €34.18

Total P/L for week: €44.12
Current BR: €64.12

I played 1,479 hands since yesterday, graph starting to move up a bit at last:

Made €14.51 profit at NLH
and played a few more SNGs also for €7.19 profit

Bankroll: €85.82

Also I started a diet 3 days ago, it's very low calorie diet just 3 shakes a day... I did ok on day 1.
Day 2 i decided to eat and came off it... (yesterday)
Today I restarted it and stayed on it all day and just had 3 shakes.... although I'm tempted to come off it again now and it's 10pm

Hey quick update. Today has not gone good! Didn't manage to hit anything, and also played a little bad. Down like 3 stacks since my last update. SNG's been going ok though, although only played a couple, which is keeping the bankroll topped up.

I decided to take a night off the grind and... play an MTT for some fun. Not great bankroll management as it's a 10 euro, but it's just a one off and now and again I think it's ok. I'm still like 55 euros up from my starting bankroll even after I bought into it.

It's quite nice updating your blog, because it's almost like you drew a line under your last session and are ready and fit to start again the next session.

Unlucky on the cash games, but if it makes you feel better I dropped well below my profit line and then over next 1k hands managed to hit my highest profit yet so hopefully same will work out for you!
