Hi, just joined Bankroll Challenge 2023 Thread as of the 3rd July 2023.

About myself....

I live in the UK and have been playing poker now online and live since 2007. I am of course a losing player and even though i have learned alot, i let my tilt and emotions get the better of me, hence losing player overall lol

Why a Bankroll Challenge?
Well i feel that challenge can keep me more focused and also not to deviate away and play out of my means. Also it would be pretty cool to finally achieve a goal like this online!

Will i be using any Software?
I will be using PT4 as i play, this will provide the graphs and information needed to keep this blog updated and give everyone involved a detailed look into my challenge!

Why $28????
I will be straight and to the point, its what i had left from casino 10 free spins and won the balance, so technically i never deposited

The Rules:

Bankroll will start at $28 on Pokerstars and will play 2NL on zoom tables to start with and the goal is to make $500

3rd July 2023
:spade: Bankroll: $28.06
 Goal: $500
:diamond: Client: Pokerstars
:club: Game: Cash 6max 2NL Zoom

Indeed. https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=523971
If you check the rules it says at least by every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. So you can post updates more as well.

Good luck with the challenge :gl:

Day 1 (very short session due to family commitments)

- 477 hands played
- Bankroll Start: $28.06
- Current bankroll: $32.10
- Profit/Loss: +$4.04

I have not used PT4 in some time so getting the hand of just using basics first then in time will post much more detail using this in future
I am currently unable to post images yet due to status but once i am able to, i will post images of PT4 etc

Day 2 (another short session due to hectic day)

- 869 hands played
- Bankroll Start: $32.10
- Current bankroll: $34.76
- Profit/Loss: +$2.66

It was for most part smooth running, i will be looking to putting in a stronger session moving forward but i have family to take care of and so that is number 1. But i will always find time to play :)

Day 3/4 (4 so far....)
- 712 combined 2 days of play hands played
- Bankroll Start: $32.10
- Current bankroll: $9.47
- Profit/Loss: -$22.63

My tracker does not take into account that i won $0.20 from promo on stars and then another $2.00 in $1 increments
Obviously so far these sessions are incredibly short but i have commitments with my family that becomes my number 1 priority

soooo yeah i doubt this challenge will last long now after today, terrible plays, out drawn on turns and rivers like no ones business and yeah just the biggest downswing haha

so i will play one table and play extreme tight play and no fishing and daft calls and plays etc

That's a rough start, but hopefully you can turn it around quick. You can always post hands on our Hand discussions for No Limit board. Than we can discuss what you could do better and it could help improving you're game.
