Hello to all pokerstrategy fans,
My name is Kaloyan from Bulgaria and I am 36 years old.
Before poker I was into eSports.

I started playing poker in 2008, and the main formats I played were tournaments and SNG. That's how I spent my time for 5-6 years until I was a student in the navy. Nothing serious. In the best of times I played 3-4000 tournaments a year up to $10. As the maximum amount I have earned per year is about $3000 with bonuses, rake, etc. I personally was happy with what I earned and lived a wonderful life, like any student and young person.

I think the next years will be successful for players who know what they are doing and have the desire. For many people, this will seem ridiculous or strange. But I believe that everything is possible. I have confidence, determination and with good discipline I will achieve 75% of what I want.

I'm a traditionalist as a person and everything I've learned about poker over the years is from pokerstrategy.com That's why I blog right here. I think the blog will keep me motivated and wanting to win. Re-reading what I learned, I am sure that with the knowledge I have gained I will fulfill the goal. The goal is very different from the game I've played at the time, namely SNG and MMT, which is cash tables NL10 +
Speaking of the goal, it is:
Poker room: Poker Stars
Format: Cash
Limits: NL 10
Tables: 9 max, Maximum 4 tables, no zoom table.
Bank and bankroll management: 25 buy-in (250$), not lowering limits. When the money runs out => Game Over.
Earnings per month: $1000, w/o rake or bonuses as I am starting from the lowest level at PokerStars and no initial deposit.

The idea is at a few tables to get the most value out of the cards by finding a way to make my opponents pay.
As software I use the free ones from pokerstrategy and licensed HM2. A bit retro, but I think it's enough for what I'm going for.
Since just talk and theory is very boring, I will upload my only graphics from the game that I have from the last years in poker.
These are all my NL 10 hands played on PokerStars in the database since 2017.

These are all hands played since 2024.

This is the graph of all hands played this month.

Hello again!
It's time to review the past week.

Graph of hands played

I will definitely need to spend more time playing. I will definitely need to spend more time playing. The constant daily tasks don't allow me to focus on the game.
I'll try to spend more time playing next week. I need to increase my hand volume to 7-10k per week. Also to keep the profits and if possible to increase them.
I will try to be active and focused. I will try to be active and focused. I will upload something interesting as soon as possible.
Good Luck!

Nice graph, keep it up that way! I know that the daily tasks definitely get in the way, but just want to tell you that IMO it's not worth playing just for the sake of gaining volume. Be sure that you're prepared to play at least your B game before starting a session and get good amounts of rest if you're not feeling up to it. Good amount of sleep and rest is vital for better mental health and conditioning.

You are absolutely right Tony!
I try, but not everything is perfect, and there is no way. Regarding plan B, this is where it gets interesting. Long story
This week I had the opportunity to spend time studying. Interesting stuff about ranges and drows. I'm glad I took the time to read something to improve my game.

Hi guys,
another week passed but unfortunately for me things did not go very well.

I had some pretty bad plays. After them came tilt and moral collapse. Then I rested for the rest of the week. I hope to start fresh again.

I was literally thinking the same thing. Maybe you should tone down the aggression a bit. Also don't bluff so much if you're getting called too often. Don't Cbet when you missed the board and it is more likely to have hit your opponent's range and stuff like that. Good luck and hope you turn things around.

Yes, you are right.
I reviewed the game and found it to be the case.
I also got support from people on the pokerstrategy forum where I shared some of the plays. For which I thank them. Now the task is not to make such mistakes again. I keep going ahead!

Hello to everyone who reads my blog.
The month is over and it's time for the results. I'll start with the last week.
The beginning was weak but the end was great. The reason for this is incorrect deviations from the main bankroll strategy.

Spoiler

Yesterday I saw that I had 43 points left to reach gold status, but the playing time was not much. That's why I decided to play a little more cautiously at a higher limit 0.10/0.25. This mistake was just today and luckily for me I didn't break the bank. I will try not to make this mistake again. And when I reach 25 buy in for this limit to switch to it.
The results of 1 day of NL 25

Spoiler

I hope the accumulated rake is enough for gold status.

The result of the month is as follows

That's it for now. I will do a detailed analysis at the beginning of the week.
I wish you a great evening!

Hello to everyone,
This past week, I haven't had much time to play poker. As I was preparing for a state exam. Next week will be the same.
The good thing is that I spend time reading and watching videos from the gold section like EV+, Game Plan, Value bets and more.

Here is this week chart

Good luck everyone and have fun at the tables!

Hello again,
Another week has passed, filled with many emotions and hard moments. On a personal level, things are getting more complicated. My sweet princess's first tooth has appeared. In the workplace, the more I learn things, the more work I do. Poker time is less but I try to play. Despite the +EV game this week, things are not looking good.

I'll try to post some hands on the analysis forum. And I'll keep trying to play my best game.
Wish you GL & HF!

The important thing is that EV is running ok. I looked at your graph for last month and I see you survived even bigger downswings, so don't worry, things will turn up. Remember to keep yourself in a positive state of mind and play your best game. GL in turning things around!

p.s. prepare for a lot of sleepless nights, my son has just finished growing teeth about a month ago (he only needs the last 4, but they won't appear for a few months yet, from what I read) and it's definitely an experience. Also always have spare Panadol, it works as a mild painkiller and was a lifesaver for us in those extra heavy crying nights.
