It is Chinese yuan, 10 of those equals 1,3€. So not micros, but prizes don't look so astonishing when you take out the last digit

Upswing continues and that was indeed my best week this year. As the masterminds are fighting each other at WSOP, the glory online is free for some fishes like me Both at GG and PokerStars I had some deep runs and combined it summed up a nice profit 
Recently there was an article by Barry at PokerStrategy when he crushed the Knockout Tournament and won plenty of Bounties. Only after reading his book in that discipline, I realized how crucial for your results is to try to hunt other players. Especially in HeadsUp when the difference is the most extreme. In this example I got 1408$ from bounties while my latest opponent got only 65$. Imagine if I didn't call his River jam and lost it eventually

On Pokerstars years ago I qualified for the big game tv show and had to make a video for a addition.. even my video finished first 1st overall with likes and views I was replied that it wasn’t good enough!!
But the achievements were I made it through 4 of the big ones freeroll

The weird part of it all was the winner that got 100 000k for big game tv show was not on the third party site as a winner with a addition Video
The director’s reached out to me and apologized and that was it for Pokerstars for me

I honestly took time off and just hopped back into it .. I love it and as I had a great experience.. I plan to stick with it once I get enough funds to play as I am in the middle of moving but meanwhile I play as much as I can

Sorry to hear to your story, Tireiron. From my experience PokerStars workers who deal with players are very professional and often go extra mile to satisfy them. Especially now when some PokerStars competitors stand very close to each other and there is no room for such errors. But I'm happy that you decided to go back to poker, so good luck in this battle again

Thanks Studentishe! Most often in my Poker career I had a primary/secondary job, so I never was a full time poker pro. For the last 3 years Poker is my only income, so I definitely need to keep those green results in reports

Yes, it was another best-week this year so far! With one day especially good, having 3 Final Tables and winning 2 of them.
129$ tournament was more profitable, but more happy with a Tiger tournament, as one more Zodiac into my pocket

Amazing hikes that you have had, the nature looks so beautiful!
For your homestead, did you not consider buying a cheap old caravan so you could have a nap, store stuff & maybe even stay overnight after a nice day?
Did you manage to grow anything yet? I am always happy to return to my mothers garden where I planted a tree 16 years ago - to see it being already more than twice my height. As I only see it once per year in June it is really amazing to see the jumps in height.
Also GL in Malta next week!

All you need is patience and volume as the fields are big, especially in lower stakes. Overall still level is low, but once in a while you face top regs who are also hunting the zodiacs ♦

Just got back from Malta festival, and as you can see from challenge update, it didn't go too well 
4 empty bullets in Main Event, one deep run in 550$ side event (finished 14th from 400 runners), 2 unsuccessful entries in the closing Bounty event.
Strangely enough, these was probably my best played tournaments In my first attempt I was chiping up nicely, timing well for bluffs and value bets but late in the day I got a cooler. Shortstack from MP opened 2,5x, spewy guy on the BU 3bet big to 8x and I looked at A♣:K♦: on the SB. Having 50BB myself I decided to simply jam, but unfortunately BB woke up with K♠:K♥:. The only wonder was if I could small 4bet and then potentially fold if exact BB puts his chips in the middle, but even then I'm not sure if I could find a fold. Other exit hands - called Allin with 5♠:4♠: on 5♦:3♣:2♠: but opponent had one of the worst hands for me 6♦:6♥: and he held; 3rd bullet - CO open 2x, I jam 15BB 8♠:8♦: but can't win a race against questionable call of J♦:T♥:. And final exit was the most painful on the day2, not far away from the money. UTG opens 2,3x, directly on his left I 3bet 7x with beautiful looking K♠:K♣:, but young kid thinks I'm full of air and jams his 30BB with A♠:Q♣:. Ace on the flop and I'm walking to side events
14th place in 550$ event is a nice results, but again with a taste of salt. With 3 tables left I was chipleading but other guys caught me once we were down to 16 players. Having average stack, I had a Blind vs Blind battle against a good reg, who opened 3x from SB with the same stack as me - around 15 BB. I have found A♣:7♠: on the big blind so I threw my chips in the middle. Finnish guy counted the odds and said that he had to call K♠:J♠: which I think is a good play. Jack on the flop sent me to the beach
And the last Bounty event was not a success as well. It started well, won some pots and was 2nd in chips at the table, what is a very good position in Knockout tournaments. But you have to gamble a lot, even against the chipleader if good situations occur. Such as this. Me on UTG open A♥:T♥:, guy on my left commits his 1,5BB, chipleader jams Allin ~100BB, other shortie with 5BB gets in as well. 2 potential bounties and a chance to be a massive chiplead if things go well so I commit myself as well having around 80BB. CHiplead had 44, others 77 and 99, so I was in a good shape, I even hit T♠:, but also did the chipleader with a set. As it was early phase, I made a re-entry and also had a good start. But once registration was over and we were reaching a bubble phase, I found myself again with that A♥:T♥: and 3bet jam 15BB on the Button once opponent opened from Late position. Again I was at the race vs 4♠:4♦: but again I couldn't win it
What did I learn from this trip? Fact that you have to be emotionally strong as it really sucks to bust the tournaments when you think you did your best but the cards go other way. For me it helps to remember that I already had my big score in the past so I can't be sad even if I lose 10 flips in row Especially when I see lots of Italians complaining and tilting after one losing hand, I'm very sure that I don't want to follow their examples And the 2nd fact - I need to improve my Blind vs Blind game, as I find myself uncertain once everyone folds to us in the blinds. Its easy to play with Premium hands, but you get those rarely and most often you see hands like J♠:7♦:, 8♥:7♥:, A♣:3♦: and these situations are still not very comfortable for me.
So that's my short review of the trip Hopefully I will bounce back once again online and next weekly update will be more positive. Until then
In general in blind battles there is argument to use fair amount of limping approach from SB. I remember one solid mtt reg who actually limped his whole range deepstacked from SB. I don't know how reasonable approach that is.
But e.g. less than 20bb deep with antes I would say only having limp or shove range is quite reasonable. If using small raise as well in spot where opponent can reasonably 3bet shove most important factor is to not raise hand that is in gray area versus shove. Like let's say QJs might be prime example of such hand with 20bb or so.

After unsuccessful Malta trip, I needed a good week online. Ant that's exactly what happened 
Micromillions is taking place on PokerStars and I got myself on the Final Table in one of the events.
7th place from almost 6k runners is a good result, especially in a HighRoller event. A little painful exit with overpair, but I can't complain too much - I won a lot of flips through all the tournament overall. The only question bothering me now - does this count as a 5k win for a new painting or should I be strict to my rules

Reply to ghaleon: Totally agree with your thoughts The simplest way to play from SB is to limp everything and then put premium hands (big pairs and strong Aces) in your ch/raising range, medium/strong hands in your ch/calling range and just fold marginal hands. That's the strategy I would suggest for all non-professional players who don't have much time to study such spots. But once you enter higher stakes, you have to find opportunities to maximize your EV and I believe Blind vs Blind battles is the place where people make a lot of mistakes. Or leave a lot of value
Nice result, but it's not enough money to get the 5k reward I think for 1 tournament.
Hopefully you get the >€5k reward this year with even a better result.
