Not the best week but I've made some days two on GG and probably it is something around a breakeven period of the last 7 days. I was very close to claiming the Avatar in Zodiac Horse tournament, but eventually got dealt J♦:J♣: in Heads-Up :f_biggrin: All money went preflop against queens and once again I will try to conquer it :f_eek:

Ooh, that was a while since my last 4 digit profit week :f_biggrin: But that's not the end. I'm still in 3 tournaments today for Day2, which in theory could make my week even better :f_drink:

Although the Sunday Storm is my cheapest tournament of the week, I would really enjoy taking it down! A massive field but not many players left, at the moment 81 still with a hope and I'm 14th in chips.

And last weeks best result came in this..

I was so happy to see Kings and one Allin in front of me (and one after), especially when they both shared same hand of Ace Queen, but.. :f_biggrin:

Nonetheless, happy with the results and I hope for some deep runs today :f_drink:

Good day Grinders :f_thumbsup:
Unfortunately no trophies in Major events, the deepest run being Sunday Storm however :f_eek:

19th position might not be the greatest, and it certainly didn't help to be outflopped by quads early on the day :f_ugly:

From very positive news, I wish I was dealt such flops more often :f_love:

With that in mind, all the best this weak! :f_drink:

Hello Grinders :f_drink:
Not a good week and again I'm below the starting line. I had 3 online sessions and one Live event where my 55 couldn't win a race against A♣:Q♦: with one table left until money :f_eek: No luck online either as I was dealt another painful exit in the most expensive tournament of the week :f_ugly:

Having 225BB with average of 50BB would really come in handy for a deep run but just like Arsenal, I have to hope for another week/year :f_biggrin:

Anyway, tomorrow starts Pokerstar's festival in Namur, and I will attend it in couple of days. Someone coming from PokerStrategy? Offering some beer for a good luck :f_drink:

Good day grinders :f_thumbsup:

Just got back from Namur, but no trophy in my luggage :f_ugly: I used two of my tickets in the Main Event, got into day 2 from the 2nd bullet but I was eliminated quite fast there. UTG opened 9♠:8♠:, I 3bet jammed a short stack of around 10BB with A♣:Q♦: and had to leave my seat once the Turn brought the straight to my opponent. However I got quite deep in the 800€ side event, where my efforts were rewarded with some 2,2k payout after finishing 19th. Overall I was satisfied with my play in this festival but my table draws were really tough. Solid aggressive opponents on my left which handcuffs my play a lot and in those cases you have to rely on the cards you are dealt. Not fortunate on that case either so all my hopes go to online poker again :f_thumbsup:

See you at the tables!

Always a pleasure to read - sorry it still takes time for the first major title!
How is family and the homestead doing now with summer starting?

Hi Sven :f_thumbsup: Two birthdays incoming in our family, mine in five days and my daughters in two weeks. 5 wonderful years with some spice on the side :f_biggrin: Overall, living well, was hoping this year to visit Malaga (and potentially Gibraltar) again, but the dates almost were the same with Namur :f_ugly:

Couple of small profitable sessions last week :f_thumbsup:
And as for Sven's question about homestead. One week away for live festival, and all the gardens are occupied by fauna and flora :f_biggrin:

I hope you could fulfill your goals and you were already in Vegas. I get those who are old goals but I'm not going to read the whole blog.

Hey! 👋
Just wanted to drop a quick message to say I really enjoy following your journey. Congrats on the solid weekly profit and the deep run in the 800€ side event — finishing 19th in such a field is no small feat! 💪

Sorry to hear about the Main Event — AQ vs 98s always feels like one of those classic “close but cruel” spots. 😅 Tough table draws can really limit options, but I admire how you stay composed and realistic about the variance.

I'm new around here and just getting into your bankroll challenge — super inspiring stuff. Looking forward to seeing you crush it online and continue climbing toward that 60k goal! 🚀

See you at the tables and best of luck this week! 🍀♠️

Hey guys, thanks for encouraging posts :f_thumbsup: Not the best feeling to be close to the starting line after 77 weeks, but I keep trying :f_cool:
As for last week, it was my 3rd profitable week in a row, and despite no huge scores, I like the direction. My biggest result came in this tournament. Just outside Top3, but always happy with a deep run.

I try to attend more live events in my local town, so last week I also played in a 2-day 150€ tournament. I got into second day, but after fireworks preflop my A♥:K♥: couldn't overcome A♣:Q♦:. Flop was low, even with some hearts, but a non-heart queen smiled on the River sending me back to online grind :f_ugly:

With the first day of July, we crossed exactly half of the year :f_drink: So let's look how my goals are progressing!

1. Have 10 trips outside Lithuania, at least 1 country new to me
February - Cyprus
March - Switzerland, PokerStars Open Campione
June - Namur, Belgium

August - Barcelona?

A little surprised with this low number myself. Couldn't qualify for Irish Open in April and that left me with Namur being only the 3rd stop of the year. I still have two silver passes which I intend to use for Barcelona and Malta, while other stops depending on how I will do in satellites for live events.

2. Extend Trophy board or ship Major MTT online event
No update here :f_zZz:

3. Reach Final Table in Sunday Million, GG Masters or any 1 Million Guaranteed event
Unfortunately an event in January still is my deepest run this year.

4. Study poker 360 hours
January - 47 hours
February - 34 hours
March - 33 hours
April - 38 hours
May - 41 hours
June - 43 hours

Total 236 hours in 6 months are much above the expected line. Although I can't control my results, I'm very happy with those factors which I can influence. And when upstreak finally shows in my office, I'm sure my study hours will pay off :f_thumbsup:

5. Experience of 10 educational trails, in Lithuania & Europe
Larnaca, Salt Lake Trail
Lugano, The Olive Grove Trail
Dūkštai, Lithuanian educational path

6. Foster our Homestead
My wife has planted some new flowers, vegetables, fruits and it seems our little friends like it as well :f_biggrin: At first we saw one deer that keeps coming constantly in front of the camera, but when I looked through night recordings, I saw some more eyes flashing. And indeed, when turning into HD mode, two little deers appeared. Interestingly, the little ones only come here at night, while in the day time, only the mother comes :f_rolleyes:

7. Reach 100k XPoints Total on French Duolingo

This task goes smoothly and I have already over 100k Xpoints.

8. Help Top Kickers team avoid relegation and have 10 attacking returns

We were expected to be somewhere in the middle and we are exactly there. My own statistics are fine, 3 goals (all headers) and 5 assists is more than half of the team goals contributed. But if Ronaldo can score goals at the age of 40, I can do it as well :f_biggrin:

9. Read 12 books
Mysterious Egypt by Angelina Zaleckaitė
Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys
Numero Zero by Umberto Eco
Malone dies by Samuel Beckett
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

In the middle with adult books and a lot of fairytales for the young one before sleep :f_zZz:

10. Complete 10 Bucket List activities
Listen to a famous Concert
Experience Sauna procedures with friends
Set eyes on the Nature Wonder

Listen to Live Opera
Organize outdoors event for friends
Take part in Formula-1 weekend
Watch Live reputable football match in a stadium
Attend a music Festival
Watch a performance in Theatre
Witness one of the new World Wonders

Well, not football but as Lithuania is a basketball country, we went into Finals of Lithuanian Championship. The Rivals of two biggest cities, Vilnius Rytas and Kaunas Žalgiris, battled until last minutes of last game and eventually Žalgiris won the last 5th match, making it 3:2. Great atmosphere, but hopefully next one is for football :f_biggrin:

Good day grinders :f_thumbsup:

Missed last week's report but there was a reason for it - Lithuania got banned from Natural8 :f_ugly: I was not sure what they would do with my funds, but after 10 days they agreed to send money to my wallet. Good news are that Olybet is also in GG Network and I am allowed to play there, but there is one big drawback - no rakeback or promotions. For MTT players this might not be so catastrophic, but still every month I was receiving 200€-400€ extra and it adds nicely at the end of the year. So not sure how my schedules and poker operators will look in the near future, I might try new room of CoinPoker as well. I have some funds here on PokerStrategy from bonuses and promotions and I see that there is an option to withdraw funds exactly to CoinPoker. Could be interesting Zero to Hero challenge again :f_cool:

I guess that must be related to Lithuanian legislation. As Olybet is also on GG, and it is a legal operator in Lithuania, it might have pushed for this action. Sucks that Olybet doesn't have rakeback system, I would much rather continue playing on Natural8 or move to pure GGPoker :f_confused:

Still playing the lower stakes than usually as I'm trying the new operator of Olybet. Another drawback besides no rakeback system is that Olybet doesn't provide "Early Bird" insurance for tournaments, when registering early, you could play bubble phase risk free. It really helped to make lighter calls and lighter jams when people expected to play you very tight, and in worst case scenario you just got your buy-in back. Now tight is right :f_eek:
Nonetheless, the biggest prize of the week came here :f_thumbsup:

And finally, a friendly reminder that 98% on the Turn is not 100% :f_ugly:

I guess that's the thing of the past. But I will ask their representative just in case :f_thumbsup:
