Today we have some hands for you played by beginners with their typical mistakes.
There are question on most of the bettingsrounds and you can try answering them. Please write the answers as usual in 'white' and I will post the solutions next week.

++++++++++ HAND 1 ++++++++++

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A♦, K♥
4 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BU calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8.00 SB) 2♦, 3♦, 7♥ (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, BU calls, SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: How much is the hand of hero worth on this flop? Are we often enough head or should we check and hope for a freecard? How do you act if BU raises us?

Turn: (5.50 BB) 7♠ (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BU folds, BB calls.

Turn: Which handrange do you give the 2 callers after the flop? Should we take a freecard here? Is there a high chane that we are still ahead? How do we act to a raise? (Note: This hand was played on the microlimits.)

River: (7.50 BB) A♣ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.

River: What could BB have here? Is our hand strong enough to raise here or should we just call his bet? What do we do if he makes a 3-bet? (Call, fold or cap.)

Final Pot: 11.50 BB

++++++++++ HAND 2 ++++++++++

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A♥, Q♥
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, Hero raises, MP3 folds, CO calls, BU calls, SB folds, BB calls, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) A♣, J♥, 7♥ (5 players)
BB bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero raises, CO calls, BU calls, BB 3-bets, UTG+2 folds, Hero caps, CO calls, BU calls, BB calls.

Flop: Is this raise ok with toppair and flushdraw or should we play wa/wb here? Are we behind after his 3-bet and thus only call? What are the advantages of a CAP?

Turn: (13.75 BB) 8♦ (4 players)
BB bets, Hero calls, CO calls, BU folds.

Turn: Should we raise here with out toppair again because of our additional flush outs? What are the favour of a simpl call? What are the advantages of a call vs a raise?

River: (16.75 BB) J♣ (3 players)
BB bets, Hero calls, CO folds.

River: Is the Jack a good or bad card for us? Should we fold the river in fear of a st because we didn't made our flush? Can you give me a handrange of BB and CO? How often do we need to be ahead to call here profitable?

Final Pot: 18.75 BB

++++++++++ HAND 3 ++++++++++

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q♥, Q♠
Hero raises, 2 folds, BU 3-bets, SB caps, BB calls, Hero calls, BU calls.

Preflop: What handrange do these unknown opponents have after the 3-bet and the CAP? Do we need to fear AA very much yet?

Flop: (16.00 SB) 7♦, 6♦, T♥ (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, BU calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: The preflopaggressor checks. Should we just call the bet from the BB and play wa/wb (behind vs AA and KK and ahead of AK) or should we raise and if we raise why do we raise?

Turn: (12.00 BB) J♦ (4 players)
SB bets, BB raises, Hero calls, BU folds, SB calls.

Turn: Suddenly SB awakes who bets now and BB raises. Can we find a fold here with our overpair? If so please explain why. Could a 3-bet be better to protect our hand?

River: (18.00 BB) Q♦ (3 players)
SB bets, BB raises, Hero calls, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero folds.

River: With our set we now beat AA and KK too as well as lower sets. Can we call here or is the flush to much likely?

Final Pot: 26.00 BB

SOLUTIONS:

Nearly all of you answered correctly or near to it. :)

HAND 1:

Flop: On the flop we are often ahead even against 3 opponent so we make our continution bet to get some value and to protect our hand. We also get some information about the players hand strength. If we get raised we can call and take a look at the turn card because we get good odds with our 2 overcards and the backdoorflush- and backdoorstraightdraws.
Turn: Our opponents only called our bet so they often hold just 2 weaker overcards and the 7 hasn't helped them in most cases so we bet again to protct our hand. If we get raised we are often behind and so we would fold.
River: His donkbet is often a bluff as a last chance to win the pot but sometimes an weaker ace as well and only rarely a monster so we should raise for value. If he 3-bets us we can only call because the chance that he holds trips is too high then. But we ned to raise here because often enough it's just an weaker ace and we would lose much value if we do not raise here.

Hand 2:

Flop: With our toppair goodkicker we often hold the best hand here so we have an easy raise. With the flushdraw as well we can even cap here for value because have at least 35% equity here with the toppair even more.

Turn:The donkbet on the turn is often a more strong hand because he donks into the guy who capped the flop.
His most likely holdings are twopair or a set. Possible hands are AJ, JJ, 77, A7, A8. If we raise here we just get a 3-bet from stronger hands.
The advantage of calling here is that we can keep the players behind us in the pot whose don't have many outs against us because of our nutflushdraw.
River: The J does not improve the hand of our opponents very much. Against AJ or a set was ahead anyway but the J might have improved our hand because we now beat A7 and A8. Of course we can't fold here for nearly 18:1 because we only need to win 5% or one out of 18 times to be break even here.

HAND 3:

Preflop: Let us consider their ranges: BU can be put on 99+, AJs+, KQs, AKo and SB on to TT+, AQs+, AKo. If the players are looser or tighter then the range may be a bit bigger or smaller but the this range should be a good approximation. The range of BB is a bit more complicated. It could be any pair, suited connectors like T9s as well as AKs and AKo.
All in all we don't need to fear AA to much yet.
Flop: The check of SB often means AK or AQ and sometime a stuipid slowplay. We can't effort wa/wb here because our opponent often have 6 outs aganst us so we need to protect our hand and to knock the opponents out.
Turn: The flush arrives on the turn and we are now behind against JJ as well. Against so much action we should fold here because it is too expensive and the chances of winning the hand are very low.
(Never get married to Queens. :) )
We are not ahead of any reasonable hand so a 3-bet doesn't make any sense at all. Just fold!
River: You shouldn't be anymore in the hand and even with the set you should fold on the river. A flush or straight is too likely.

In short: Hand 1 and 2 were played well and hand 3 is not so well played. ;) (Why? See above. :) )

Since nobody answers, I'll give it a try. Hope you'll post your solutions soon.

++++++++++ HAND 1 ++++++++++
Flop: AK is worth a c-bet, but it's close. The fold equity is small but you're likely ahead. If BU raise, call and see what the turn brings.

Turn: The two callers may both be drawing, but at least one of them is likely to have something. Bet and fold to a raise.

River: Given the microlimit, BB could have a worse Ace, but Aces up or a straight is possible. His bet seems strong, so just call.
Given your raise, if he 3-bets, make a crying call.

Since this is my first hand analysis, I'll answer only the first hand. Hope it makes sense.

alright, i will try it, but i find these hands very hard

++++++++++ HAND 1 ++++++++++

flop: i think you are most likely ahead so a c-bet is ok

turn:don't think this card will help anybody so the bet is ok. i put them both on overcards,flushdraw or maybe a A2 or A3, but a 7 wouldn't suprise me either on these limits( have seen that enough).

river: i would only call this river. maybe it is a busted flushdraw but like i said it could also be a slowplayed 7 or a A2,A3.
and i don't find TPTK good enough to raise on river.
if he 3-bets just you can't fold, so a call is ok

++++++++++ HAND 2 ++++++++++

flop: this is not wa/wb, you have a good hand and you have to protect it. it could be that we are behind after his 3-bet, but it seems more likely that he wants to protect his A against a flushdraw. because the pot is already very big, i like the cap to let CO and BU pay 2 sb for there draws.

turn: he donks again, and i see that as strenght, maybe he has more than a A, and he doesn't want to give a freecard. a call is better i think because a 3-bet you would have to call and you are sure to be behind then.

river:don't think that it is a good card. i wouldn't raise here, bb showed a lot of strenght and you have only TP. we have to call you get 17 to 1
handranges: BB AJ or 77, A7, CO a flushdraw

++++++++++ HAND 3 ++++++++++

preflop: you don't have to fear AA just yet. they have a bigger range.

flop: sb action doesn't make any sence to me. i somehow like the raise, maybe sb doesn't have anything and this way he has to pay 2 smallbets.

turn:one of them has you beat now i guess. don't know if a fold is the best here, but i can't do that, no 3-bet for me

river: you normally beat nothing here, just AA and KK with no diamond, witch is unlickely after bet and raise, so fold is the best thing here.

boddis feel free to answer every hand if you find the time for it. It might improve your game and isnce you write it in white the anser should be just for me so you won't take the chance from anyone else :)

henne007 easy hands are boring aren't they? ;)

1) On the flop we are ahead often enough to bet. The board is all low cards so we're beating any other overcards, and are only behind against a pocket pair or something like A3. Against the latter we have FE. So I think the contibet against 3 is ok here. If BU raises we have odds to call and watch the turn.

The turn is another low card, and only 2 opps are left. They can very well be on a flush draw or straight draw or on overcards, all of which we beat. So again I think the turn bet is ok. However if BU raises we can consider folding as we're getting 8:1 and it this limit it's not so likely he's raising for a free SD.

BB wakes up at the river, so he almost certainly has an Ace. A7 is not likely, we lose against A2 and A3 and beat everything else. Therefore we're ahead more than 2/3 of the time and can raise him. If he 3-bets we should just call. Cap is too much, but fold is big mistake due to the size of the pot, and he could easily 3-bet AT or something here.

2) Flop: our hand is certainly strong enough to raise. Question is whether we should just call to keep CO and BU in the pot. They both cold-called pre-flop and the pot is already quite big, so I think the flop raise is good here: if they fold they would have folded to a single bet as well. After the 3-bet the cap is good, as - even without our top pair! - we're drawing to the nut flush against two opps.

Turn: he donks again, so we now strongly have to consider he's on 2 pair or a set. Still, at this limit he could also do it with a worse Ace, and at this stage we'd like to kick CO who may be on a straight draw, so I would favor a raise here, call-down to a 3-bet and maybe take a freeSD ui.

River: J is not a good card. We're only beating a worse Ace now, but fold is not an option with this huge pot. CO was obviously on a sd or fd.

3) Maybe later :)

1) Backdoor straight+flushdraw and overcards outs would make a flop call correct. I do like to bet out with these kinda flops. We would have to call a raise from BU. We can put villains on a draw, low PP or a 7 here. Turn looks like a bet/fold because the 7 WILL raise us here. Maybe we can even valuebet our AK HU ui when the river dosnt complete any draws? BB could have called the flop with A2,A3 wich we beat atm so i think a raise is ok here. BB 3betting would be ugly here but i think we have to make a crying call if he 3bets.

2) U have enough pot equity to cap here i think. Top pair plus nutflushdraw. If he donks the turn again after your flopcap we are behind and go into calldown mode. Raising would be wrong here because u a) are behind and b) u want people to overcall behind you. Pairing the board dosnt make any difference if we were behind allready.

3) Handranges would be AT+ KQs+ 77+ ? We raise for information/protection on this flop. I dont like to 3bet this turn because a cap would be really ugly. SB could be donking a flushdraw here but then again he could have jacks or may allready have the flush. I would really like to call it down and see a river with this hand but the Q on the river ruins this. I think i wouldnt even call BB's raise in this hand.
