Hi,
this week I wanted to make a little quiz about KQ, one of the most misplayed hands, especially when the blinds are high many players have trouble with this hand.

Calling is a waste of chips, so you either fold in these spots or you push and take some FE with your push, when you call you win the 30% of pots in which you hit and so you burn 2/3 of your money.

but i'm just saying ICM is generally played from 10BB and less... these situations appear to be above this threshold?

ICM works from the moment you sit on the table, and hence the 10BB "rule" is more of a guideline and not a law. When you have a hand that is difficult or -EV to play postflop, but a shove with 14BB would be +EV, then why not shove it?
