I'm a fixed limit fish ♦ But I will give it a try:

Hand 1) Cap flop to protect against draws?! River: ok

Hand 2) I think it's played well. Do you guys sometimes use the ace as a scare card and bet or play check/raise on the turn?

1) Do you really fear a 8 here? He made a prelop 3-bet so I think you can even raise the river again.

2) Hmm can't we even fold here? Only 4:1 potodds, 2-suited flop and the preflop aggressor behind us. With reads we can think about a raise to win the pot unimproved.

1) i would cap the flop and call river

2) i would maybe c/r the turn as i hit a scarecard. but i dont think there is much FE because he can easily calldown in FL.
