Check raising this flop seems too thin all you do is bloat the pot with 1 pair hand c-betting or chk calling is way better. I would c bet the flop and barrel the turn folding to a raise as played i would chk fold the turn because most players are not creative enough there to turn their smaller jacks into a bluff.

Agree, in a 1$ game you must give up on turn and river, people will not fold straights and they wont bluff worse usually. since you still have showdown value i dont see any reasen to bluff the river here.

Your preflop play is fine, a cbet on the flop should be standard. With your read I think checking is ok, but checkraising will push the variance, since TPTK is not a monster but just a good hand which will be outdrawed or crushed sometimes.

If you are fine with playing this high risk game, go with your read, but then your flopraise needs to be bigger to give him no odds to call with a draw. A raise to like 800 would be better, maybe even a push.

Your river bet is too big. 150-200 is way better imo, all weaker hands still call you and straight will raise, so you have easy fold after raise.

Looking back at this, I still like my play, but I agree that the betsizing on flop + river is wrong. But if I had bet 150-200 on river, wouldn't the fish think "Oh, he bet really small, he must be weak" then raise me with a worse Jack if he thought his TP was good?

Personally I tend to raise bigger preflop in a similar situation, but I think this is OK.
I would've cbet the flop and barrel the turn (probably going broke on the flop if necessary, if I have reads about his overaggressive game), but as played, I like a much bigger check-raise. Mace suggests 800, I'd even go for between 900-1000, but then you might not be able to fold... But if that's the case then we shouldn't be going for the checkraise line at all.
I probably would've bet the same on the river when playing, though thinking about it now the 200 seems much better.

This, player should be quite advanced(or a maniac) to raise you without straight or better and he has to know that you understand block-betting. And this happens too rare
