Not sure about the call pre vs UTG as we aren't suited and 88 rarely gives us top set. Also given how aggressive he is post flop we have to fold very often as we hardly ever hit a board very strongly

Nice and easy fold preflop, the ace is useless in your hand. You will find yourself in a lot of trouble if the flop comes AAx because you have terrible kickers, anyone else with the other ace will take all your money.

On the flop, again it's a super easy fold. It's obvious someone will have you beat here, either with a higher pocket pair or a queen or ten. Even the 8 :diamond: is no good for you since it puts a flush and a straight on the board. With all this in mind you should definitely be folding both preflop and flop else your money will not last long.

You seem to be focusing on opponents stats when you should be focusing on your own hand and the reasons why you're playing them. Opponents stats don't help you when you're playing this badly.
