So I've gotten a stake from Gerv for 100k hands of NL50 20bb cap at pokerstars. Hopefully this will end with enough fpps right about at the $650 platinum star bonus, and $240 in stellar rewards (already achieved first one this year)

So just for official records,

My fpps from before stake started- 975.23
My vpps earned before stake started- 782.92 ( have bought first milestone)

So here goes nothing!

So just played a quick session before going to bed. Played fewer tables because I'd been playing NL10cap (theres only NL10/NL50/NL5k for some reason) so had a little session to get back into the swing of things. Seems fairly soft from what I've seen so should be a good stake :)

Hands- 398/100,000 (+398)
Profit- +$14.35 (+14.35)
Fpps- 127.56 (+127.56)
Stellar rewards- NA

Good luck :f_thumbsup:

so my plan during exams was to play 2-3k hands per day during study breaks, and motivate myself to study, but i was lazy and didnt really wanna study, so more studied during poker breaks ..

all my friends went to the library to study and i couldnt go that far on crutches cuz my knees been hurting pretty bad, (oh yeah, have to have knee surgery again, for 3rd time :() sooooo yeah wasnt in a good mood and didnt really wanna study so just grinded.... quite abit :P swingy day starting 9bi under ev in about 90 hands but still ended up about 17BI for the day.

Hands- 5,896/100,000 (+5498)
BR- $684.11 (+$169.45)
vpps- 2,103.41 (including mine from before stake)
fpps- 2,956.74 (including mine from before stake)

p.s gerv- so far earning vpps at .22/h according to hem which i think is exactly what we used to calculate the fpps for bonus, so looks good!

#1 the fish was crazy agro and if there was any small bet about half pot he'd raise almost any 2, whereas if you bet bigger near to pot size he would fold on occasion.

#2 its 20 bb cap, that means each person can only put in 20 bbs and then its considered "All in" even. You push almost everytime you 3bet. fish was co, button had HUGE fold to 3bet, so was fairly sure i'd get it in vs fish

people flat too much so if i 3bet to $8-9 pot to $16 at the least if we're both in the blinds, im sitting on $12 at most, so I was taught to 3bet push a standard 3-4 bb raise

well the first long string of hands is all same villain :) then the one yesterday was 2 randoms but made me laugh so thought i'd post it

it's standard to 3bet push even from a 2bb raise, but why do YOU open at 3bb instead of 2 ? don't you think you loose more money when vilain resteal ?

ah sorry i'd misread your question, it depends on whos after me, theres only a couple regs that i've noticed resteal ALOT. For the most part theres quite a bit of fish, if preflop aggressive regs are behind me to act i dont make it 3.

ugh :(, I knew it wasnt best day but I thought I'd broken evenish or slightly up.... no... -20BI

Looking at the hands I just didn't hit any flop in a ton of 3+ way pots where I couldn't do much when 3betting having someone behind me having a monster and just running into the very top of everyones ranges. I dunno what else to say, I felt I played better today than the rest of the stake, I felt really concentrated and sure of my decisions after going over a ton of hands the last couple days. But yeah.

today decided to take break day from studying cuz my heads exploding with french and grinded quite a bit in little sessions throughout the day but no luck on running any better. 6.6k hands, -13BI. however way under EV and 36.3 BI under EV for the challenge so far.

Hope to get some run good soon!

Wow, that's some impressive badrun you've got there. Still, plenty of hands to turn things around, I'm sure you'll make it!
