[Closed] weak A high turn

i think a bet isnt the worst decision. he might be able to fold A-high, even a better one. he could also pay you off with loads of FDs, SDs etc. if you bet the turn i'd instafold this horrible river tho.

he does have some gutshots in his range and c/c makes your hand so transparent. problem is that some semibluffs are possible but you are not in good shape against JT or a flushdraw and you do have only 3 outs against Qx or Kx and a gutshot like J9 or T9 does have 10 outs against you. i would play bet/fold on the turn since c/f is too weak but bet/call is too expensive with your relative weak hand.

On this river(T:c) you play c/f i guess.
and on a blank river you play c/c to induce some bluffs.

Also vs an aggro player, not necessarily this guy, I don't like bet/fold here to be honest. Two flush draws, straight draw. To be honest I don't think x/c is too bad, just make sure when you donk-check like this occasionally you have x/r and x/f hands in your range so he doesn't have an easy auto-bet...

The one thing to think is bout it in terms of "turning our hand up"

1) He's not folding a K, Q or 3
2) He's raising us with most of those
3) He's also unlikely to fold a decent A-High

So the only hands we "turn our hand face up" to are pp's and he's not likely to fold those either so the only thing betting does good for us is potentially give us the option to 3-barrel bluff a low SD player.

By checking we give draws an opportunity to bluff us.

i first though you want to c/F the turn but the c/f was refered to the T on the river. c/C is fine i think because - cjheigl calculated it - hero does have around 30% equity even when villain does not bluffbet with J9 but due to the flusdraws and straightdraws. i think just with a read that he does have just a few semibluffs in his range and tends more to call because hes a nit, bet/fold becomes viable.
