i decide to limp here as i don't limp too much so i fig why not.....i bet my 2nd pair and flush draw on the flop then hit on the river......made a crying call on the river hoping he had kj or a set.....prob should raise with j10s? maybe get rid of aXs hands.....how much should you limp to mix up your game?

Limping from time to time with this kind of hands is ok I guess. Don't do it too much.

Flop: I don't like betting here. You're making pot bigger and you don't want that since your hand is really not so strong. Also we put ourself in tough spot - if anyone raises us, what do we do? early positions might slowplay QQ or KK or have AKc, set of 6. You have 2 people to act behind you...You didn't show strength preflop and not you're inviting people with 1/2 bet?? Too risky and definitely not profitable.

Turn: Check is correct play - we don't want to make pot bigger now many hands beat us.

River: Betting sure is tempting since we hit our card. At the same time there are A and K out there. If you decide to bet bet smaller.

My play:

Preflop: Limp is ok as you explained.

Flop: Check and hope to see some friendlier cards. Too many opp to try anything.

Turn: I would give up if anyone bet.

River: If nobody showed strength I would bet 1/3 (pot would be much smaller since there wouldn't be any bets) and call 3x reraise.

Hello ockerdoc,

Preflop: Sure you can limp here, I don't even mind.
Postflop: Since nobody really showed any interested in the flop then you can Bet here and even sometimes be ahead with your Tx and of course we have a FD with it but I'd bet a bit bigger ~$0,4. Otherwise it's kinda crappy but I don't think that we can lay down our hand, sometimes he might even show weaker hands and of course he is giving us pretty great odds.

Best regards.
