just fold flop for an easy life?

Sometimes one sees aggressive opponents raising AJ in this spot so it's always hard.

After villain checks back the turn, not sure what to think.

River bet size is kind of strange as well. Dunno we can fold for these odds given the action? We of course lose to QJ additionally but not sure the average opponent is raising that on the flop.

I think either vBet River yourself or bluffcatch timebank style is fine.

But f no, against a 87bb player (regardless of stats and #tables he plays) I dont fold Flop even tho it might be viable in Rush but then :f_eek:

I can't fold this on the flop. If it was J87 it's a lot closer and I will against some regs just fold (they're never bluffraising there and vs a valuerange we cannot play well OOP).

But this board is so dry that he could in fact be bluffraising or even raising some AJ type of hand for value.

As played I agree with Gerv: bet the river for value yourself. It is a b/f, but I think he's going to check back KJ and even some Qx he was bluffing with too often, so I rather put some money in myself.

how much should we bet on the River, please?

Since his hand is most likely Jx or even an underpair I'd make it something like $16-$18 to make sure I'll get a call from those.
