Hero bets $4.00, BB calls $4

Turn: ($14.00) Q :heart: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $7.00, Hero calls $7

Hero checks, BB bets $10.00, Hero calls $10

BB (VPIP/PFR/AF/WtSD/Hands): 48/15/4,1/26/521

From the turn i decided to check/call vs this agro fish, because he could be betting a lot of worst hand, which maybe he couldn't call me down with. What do you think?

I think I like it. He can call worse if we bet turn, so betting would still be for value against 7x, flush draws and Ax, but if he is aggressive we may get more value by letting him bet.

River is kinda difficult as this looks like a value sized bet rather than a bluff.

H/ever, he only needs to have air 1 in 4 times so a call is probably fine.

I tend to make it 3,5 BBs preflop, 3 is just too low, I only use it on those multitabling nits who fold everything anyway.
Also I tend to look at his fold to contibet. If it's low then I like this play.

Against a fish like this we can even make it 4BB preflop.

Postflop I like the c/c a lot - the Q is a good card to 2ndbarrel as a bluff because he's folding all the small PPs etc, but this generally means it's bad card to bet for value on.

After we c/c and he makes it that small on the river it sucks a bit because he might do this for thin value with Kx, but against a guy like him I'd call nonetheless because we're getting 4:1 meaning we only have to be good 20% of the time and he can show up with a lot of busted draws, Qx or even weaker hands he is betting simply for the sake of hitting the bet-button.

=> Nh!

Sorry for the long delay with the hand evaluations, I'm on vacation right now and had a tough fight for internet. It seems to be working now, so hopefully there won't be any more delays.
