Hello SnoWonder,

Preflop: You can as well just Call it and overplay him postflop. Although 3betting should be fine as well if you see him folding a lot to 3bets.
Flop: Depends a lot on the opponent but more often I would just Bet/Fold it here with my mid-pair.

As played
River: Doesn't really make sense to bet the river since only better hands will Call you and worse will fold, while you have showdown value then just Check behind.
