[Closed] How was your poker year 2007?

only started playing properly in november after finding this site. Have built the $50 up to $300 which is ok i suppose. Still some leaks that I need to address, but you never stop learning. My aim for 2008 is to hit $1000 and read as much as I can.

I got it up from 150 $ to about 800 $ in three months.
So I guess it's average, NL25 isn't something worth cheering for just yet.

It would've been perfect if I hadn't been running and playing bad in December. But still, it was pretty good. Moved up from zero to a steady winner at NL200 in 6 months, but currently I'm playing NL100 again because I cashed out right before my downsing which was just about the worst timing ever. Anyway, 2007 was good, 2008 will be perfect

I expected to be better couple of months ago too. But once again i proven myself i am stupid donk. I got stacked to often when totally not needed but thats ok coz stupid plays helps to get few more stacks then usual too. But i miss my good tournament plays from first half of year and will do all i can to get at least one final table finish in one of 100tsd$+ tournaments this year.

Well. Started up at mansion 15th december, and worked me up from 50 bucks too 500$, so thats ok for 1/2 month I guess.
Goals for next year is to reach 4000 bucks

myself 2007 been ok , well at least not losing , up about 2K over year

gonna spend some time reading few books & watching some of the videos on here which some are very impressive and knowing what the coaches are thinking will be very helpful

I had an average year. I had no real goal. Just to reach 10/20$ but after my biggest downswing my motivation was below zero (800BB at 5/10$).
December was the first real month I started playing again after nearly a 6month long break but I didn't played much so I'm still not where I wanted to be.

Good, I found about poker and learnt the basics - and already made some quite nice profit for the standarts of my country
I just hope poker doesn't hinder the preparations for the university exams in July..

I started at 3 sites wining freerols of between $5 /10$ turned it into $350,$250and $500 and lost all my hard work tilting at 2 sites playing at the jackpot tables for 36-48 hrs at a time trying to hit jackpots they were so big and the trap they had me on was if it hit at the stake u were playing on you got paid out, the last tilt my friend turned up for a cupa was saying stop man ya tilting but i was paralysed it had my grip and i was getting

My goal is was to try and make a passive income over a 3-5yr period i have learnt alot in the last yr i have been playing and some major things in the short time ive signed with poker strategy,

overall 26k profit

I still have a job but by next year I will be doing this full time

LOL 2 coaches saying it's been catastrophic,

and you're going to coach and analyze MY play??
