oh ya sweet one of my first good tourny placings last night on poker stars, felt i could have won but cards were'nt helping me at the end. oh well $1800 is sweet 3rd for me out of 2949 players . thx for the help from all the great articales and stuff you guys offer here. Sk8Surf

What was the structure of the tourney? (Rebuys? # of players?) I don't play on stars, so I don't really know.

ya the tourny was 10 $ plus 1 buyin no rebuys no add on so great payday for 10 bucks man check its out my buddy got me too go there took bit too get used too but man i love the pay outs cause lots of players Gl man

Nice one man, just wondering what your thoughts on bankroll management and MTT's are. Do u do 100 BI for MTT's or less?

I recommend at least 100 buy-ins for MTTs and at least 50 buy-ins for SNGs.

100 times the amount needed to buy in. In this case, 1100 $
That's the guideline if you wish to build a bankroll with MTT's.

I prefer to dissuade from that, because I'm a cash player and MTT's are usually a one time excitement gig I play after having an upswing. It's not that important then, it's just giving myself a treat for doing so well... I guess it's ok.

very nice win for Sk8Surf , so good to see so many good results in MTT on here there is a bit of a knack to getting results in MTT and can be very profitable for those winning

personally stick to about 50 for sng & MTT but understand the higher levels , the higher buy-ins needed

50 is not enough for mtt.

Hell,

I use 100 for s&g, for mtt 200 is ok, but still not safe.
