Hey BAM,

Nice hand. Although I would like to ask you where did you decide to check/call? I don't see any value in calling any street, so just check/fold all the way.

Hey Burek/Gerv,

I wanted to know if you think it would be incorrect to cbet flop in this instance please? If so why?

Thanks,

AKM

Hey AKM,

When you c-bet you c-bet for one of two possible reasons:

1. You c-bet for value where you want to get called by worse hand.

2. You want to take down the pot so you win the money on the table.

Now, in this hand we face two opponents and we hold underpair to the board. Because our hand is so weak we cannot c-bet for reason number 1.

And because we face 2 opponents we also can't c-bet for reason number 2 since our fold equity is diminished against 2 opponents and the c-bet would be -EV(we wouldn't take down the pot often enough to justfy investing money for the c-bet).

Hope this clarifies it.

Best regards,
