Hey guys,
I'm a high stakes MTT player/coach and I'm making a theme video called "Tough spots" for Pokerstrategy. It will most likely end up being Gold, but I think there's a great chance that anyone with a lower member status will get a temporary status upgrade to view the video.
So, the concept and instructions can be found below, please read carefully!
I'll collect approximately 30-50 MTT hands from users that they found hard. Then I'm going to make a video series where I analyze the hands from every standpoint.
What I need you to do:
-Copy-paste the hand in question to this thread. DO NOT send me a link to a converted hand on a site such as pokerhand or weaktight. I need the entire hand so that the replayer will recognize it. Make sure not to edit any of the stuff in the beginning or end of the hh such as the stuff that says "tournament id" or "hand history number 35425683406082315".
-If you wish to remain anonymous that's of course fine. You can do this by changing your name to "Hero" (or something else) in the HH. Just replace your screen name everywhere in the hand.
-Everyone else's name must be original or HEM won't recognize it. So don't send me HH's with positions instead of screen names!
When sending the hand, please add the following information:
-Buy-in for the tournament in question
-Any stats you have on villain
-Any reads you have on villain
-Any history you have with villain
Note that this will be a pretty advanced video, and this is why reads and history are important. Your villain might be doing stuff because you have been doing stuff before, etc. My analysis will be very different whether the villain is a nit and you've played every hand, of if you've folded every hand and the villain is playing 33/29.
What kind of hands I'm looking for:
The guideline is whatever spots you are finding hard. However, please use common sense. There are many MTT spots that are simple pokerstove problems. Don't send me hands where someone 3-bet shoves 15bb on you and you're wondering what you should call with, because you can just pokerstove the answer. Same goes for open shoves obviously.
These can be pure preflop spots, but I'd prefer hands with post-flop action. If you end up posting a hand that ends pre-flop make sure it has interesting action.
I'll make an example post right after this. Multiple hands per user are allowed.
