DONK - Donkey, players who are generally bad and dont care about donking their chips and $'s away as long as they hit every now and then. That is my interpritation of the word Donk, it is open to other players own interpritations.

It isn't the word itself, but it's a derived term coined from the donk:

Hi,

I believe a "Donk" refers to "Donkey" which is now a popular poker term for someone that you consider a bad player...

Since skills in poker is very relative, I can be a donk for Phil Ivey

Take care
Simon

But isint poker a strategy and luck based game, when you are trying to think your own head and make your own decisions? :)
Couse i called with 8,9 and opponent had A,A and lost, becouse on flop i had straight... He called me donkey... But i did all in after flop, so i dont think that was a stupid act :)

As I said, poker skills is relative....

If you feel like playing 89s you can (Depends on a lot of things, stack sizes, bet sizes, etc.).....And he probably called you a donkey because he was mad, not because you played bad...You had the nuts so nice hand!

It hurts a lot to lose with AA, people tend to rage a lot :f_biggrin:

Yea.. I just told him - Maybe im a DONK... But i have your moeny ;D
