i think this is pretty horrendous play that worked out in the end

Whent he flop arrives im thinking a set has hit all over that kind of board, so im hesitate to raise.

turn gives me flush outs and he half pots it, making it look like value bet so i call incase he has made flush

river comes and its a nice card, only A :spade: beats me or T8 :spade: which is more unlikely

i call as i dont want to shove and isolate myself against better hands

should i have just raised the flop here?

Hello joeldowey123,

For those kind of small donks it should be fine even to Call down and take a note. Sometimes he might even do that with weaker pairs or even missed draws.

Guess wrong hand? :( Just re-post it.

Best regards.

Guess I wouldn't change much in the play either. Of course his near pot size bet looks very strong but as well he may even bluff there. So therefore I don't think that I'd get it away.

But the question is either to raise it on flop or not. And actually while even his donk-bet is very weak I might consider doing that. To protect from any kind of draw.

yeah, thats what i was kind of questioning, i think i was playing scared as its a drawy baord, for straight/flush/set value there as well

if i raise here to say ~$0.6 or so and he ships, then what? can i fold or have i put too much in to get away from it?

Guess on those limits they even can easily go broke with a lot worse hands. Draws/TP and etc. So as if I do raise then I'd consider going broke as well unless I know the opponent better.
