Hero checks, CO bets $1.20, Hero calls $1.20

River: ($4.11) T :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.80, Hero?

Opponents stats after 398 hands were: 17/13; af: 5.5; cbet: 81%; turn cbet: 100% (5 hands on this); wtsd: 25%; w$sd: 40%.
Unfortunately I had no specific notes on him.
What do you think about this river spot?

I think we have enough equity to call vs his range. Beside, someone with AF 5.5 like to bet when he think the board do not hit our range. I have no reason to fold this hand on the river.

Hello Indahaus,

Against that kind of opponent who is such a CBet maniac then I wouldn't really play it any differently and very likely even consider Calling it down on flop & turn.

But really the river is just horrible bet size. Smells like a value-bet. But I don't think that I'd lay it down vs such an aggressor. While he might even bet this with missed draws/bluffs.
