Should I just check/fold the river? When he re-raised I couldnt resist calling. Another one of my many leaks. I get over-excited with these sorts of pocket pairs and think I have to make as much as possible with them. Too results orientated instead of trying to play correctly

      Hello 0744379,

Bet the flop bigger, bet the turn bigger and most likely I'd just Check/Fold it on the river unless I know the opponent more. Like expect him to be loose enough or either bluffing there. But even bluffs ain't that likely since something like A:hX completed there.

Neither I just don't see what you beat on the river if he even raises? Always remind yourself to take the time down! Never snap-call. Take break and then ask yourself, what do we beat? -> Only bluff.

      Best Regards.
