mh not sure about this. of course you don´t really have to protect but nevertheless i tend to raise the turn directly because i want to get my whole stack in which wouldn´t really work (without an overbet) if i call the turn and he check/calls the river. also his bet on the turn was pretty big so i don´t really expect him to fold anymore.
furthermore i put him on a T most likely and again i want to get his whole stack in so i don´t want a river that scares him (or me... A e.g.)

this could be complete crap btw. i guess that my postflop play is horrible ^^

i'm just thinking i get more value against straight draws and flushdraws this way :).

err is this standard play on the 16$ at stars to donk the turn with a draw on a QQQT board ?

haha, good point. i guess i should've just raised the turn and made him think i was "buying" the split pot.

i might be wrong but someone holding an ace would likely stick around for the cheap turn and flop they are getting....and its not surprising if the ace suddenly popped up setting u completely off guard...and also facing a difficult decision if reraised
