Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

Hero (CO): $10.42 (104.2 bb) 12/6/6.0/0.0/50/18
BTN: $10.28 (102.8 bb) 39/28/2.0/33.3/60/18
SB: $11.14 (111.4 bb)
BB: $11.69 (116.9 bb)
UTG: $6.07 (60.7 bb)
MP: $4.70 (47 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, BTN calls $0.40, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.95) T 3 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, BTN calls $0.60

Turn: ($2.15) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.30, BTN calls $1.30

Bigger turn bet for both protection and value? Looking back maybe I should have bet like $1.80.

River: ($4.75) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

So I don't think there's really any point in betting here. He won't call if he has shit and he'll raise if he has a straight now. So I decide to check and if he Bets anything above $2 then I'll fold, right?

Or should I just fold no matter what he bets? The way I played this hand I was showing him that I had an overpair and he could be tempted to bluff here but I don't think its worth calling anything above $2, what do you think?

Hello maheepsangari,

There are too many hands what beat you on the turn, therefore we plan to Bet/Fold it, although I would bet it a bit bigger ~$1,50 and Check/Fold the river.

And of course we could even bet bigger on the flop while we are against a loose opponent.

Best Regards.
