What to do on the river? I think that we get called by Jx and even PPs often enough in order for a push to be +EV.

Bet the flop yourself rather than Check/Call it while we don't even know how good our implied odds are but meanwhile we could just gain fold equity with the lead out. :) But as played against his stack pretty standard on river. :P

Do you think we have enough fold equity on the flop to justify a bet? How much do we need actually?
Calling should be fine because we don't even need implied odds since we are getting 5:1.

Well, even if not then we can still hit on further streets. You can't really hope that if he bets pot size that we have the implied odds for weaker 8high FD. Need fold equity or what? Depends what kind of size we do bet. :) For example if we bet half pot then we need 33% for break-even. :P

Calling should be fine because we don't even need implied odds since we are getting 5:1.

Against that kind of Bet of course but against bigger ones. :) We will never know if we even have implied odds.
