Hero checks, MP bets $0.97, Hero raises to $4.00, MP calls $3.03

Turn: ($9.30, 2 players) A♦
Hero bets $5.00, MP raises to $23.39, fold

sick turn and i was confused what to do :(

Hello BGawli,

What's the idea of the Bet on the turn? Practically you are turning your hand into bluff there, especially if you plan to Bet/Fold it. If you think he ain't going to continue anyways with worse then just Check it and keep the ranges wide and might even get the odds for FH/Quads if needed.

What do you think he is doing with a hand like AQ here?

I guess we could pick even almost pot size with very good reads and if we expect him to have flush more often there. Even if he doesn't have a flush he could easily be Checking behind the river. :)
