Villain is probably the best player at this limit at Ongame. Rather tight but very solid winner overall. 13/11/2.6, PFR EP-MP only 9.

I know that raising the flop will get him off anything I beat and won't get paid much with AK. I figured the only way to freeroll against his AK was to play it like this, plus maybe get a turn call from AQ. I really didn't know what to do on that river so I decided to bet anyway, who knows, I think that he perceives me as a bluffer so he may call one more with AQ-AJ sometimes (1/10 let's say). Maybe he folds AK sometimes there, so I thought betting is +EV.

Now what the hell does he have when he raises that river? I can't see him calling the turn with a T in his hand, unless he had exactly 9T clubs. Wouldn't he raise the turn with a set on that board?

Hello circoflax,

Well, he can still have AT in his range which we can't exclude and I wouldn't expect the guy to fold that hand on the turn. Nor I can't see him even bluffing there cause we are kinda committed to Call. So it's a Bet/Fold even or what would you assume being ahead there?

We should also ask how much to Bet on the river and how to get called from those hands as AJ/AQ, I'd myself Bet max to like $15.

Best Regards.
