Hello and a very warm welcome to the thread. Here you will find further advice on how to post your hand for evaluation outwith the SideKick, meaning either with your tracking software or with your poker client.

      For Hand History options:

      I use tracking software

      I use my Poker Client

Select the option above most relevant to you, and this will take you to further instructions tailored to your current setup.

A list of third-party hand converters can be found at the bottom of the page.

If you have further questions after reading this thread, please ask in the thread itself, or simply post in our "Beginners Questions Forum", for further assistance from our attentive moderators.

If you use a tracking tool like

Hold 'em Manager 2 (free trial available)

      PokerTracker (free trial available)

extracting & sharing your hands is very simple.

Within the Tracking Software, there is an option to immediately export & convert your hands, so that you can instantly share them on the forum - the below screenshots display how to do this.

Hold 'em Manager 2 (PokerStrategy.com Forum)

After copying the information to your clipboard, you can directly paste this into a new thread in the Hand Evaluation board for review.

      Hold 'em Manager 1

      Poker Tracker 3

With the above two examples, you see "2+2" after copying to clipboard - this refers to an online poker forum called http://www.twoplustwo.com/ and as such the forum code format is what's being referred to here. Our forum supports similar formats.

If you do not use tracking software to gather your hand information, you can instead use the features built-into your Poker client, to extract the hand information.

Your hand information is gathered by your Poker Client, and as such the install folder is where we can find the information we are looking for.

Below you can select which option is relevant to you, to find the path where your hand histories are saved:

      Party Poker ...
iPoker rooms: Poker770, Titan Poker, William Hill, etc..
      Everest ...
      Betfair ...

As this is slightly more complicated than any other method, we still recommend you get some tracking software, or use the PokerStrategy.com SideKick to share your hands with us, as this allows you to gather your hands much more effectively.

Without the Sidekick and / or tracking software, you will need to convert your hand manually before posting it - to do this, you need to find a hand converter which supports the room you play on. See below for more examples.

      PartyPoker

      The path is:

      C:\program files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\Handhistorys\username\Tablexxx.txt gespeichert

additionally with PartyPoker there is the possibility to copy & paste the hands directly from the table, as you can see in the below screenprint:

As shown with the circles in the image, copy the text in the right hand side and paste it into the PokerStrategy.com Hand Converter to make the format of your hand easily readable.

      iPoker

Poker770, Titan Poker, William Hill, etc..

      C:\Poker\Titan Poker(or other room name)\

For iPoker, you can import all the histories into the Poker Hand Replays hand converter, to ensure a clean format for sharing:

Some screen-shots on using the client to extract the history,

..or use the client as shown in the screenshots,

and you can use Pokerhand for the conversion.
