I would fold it being the button. If you were BB the call would be fine. Your problem is, that there are to players left to act und you can't be sure that they both fold. Therefore 55 is not good enough.

Given SB's small stack, is a reshove possible here?

I disagree.

This is a 5-handed table, UTG shoves a really wide range here. I believe SB can try to triple up with a lot of crappy hand (like Ax, they overestimated Ax). BB will call us with a really tight range.

So i'll shove something like 22+,A5s+,K9s+,QJs,A9o+,KJo+.

55 won't have a good equity against your opponents' ranges. It will be hard to find an UTG range that you perform well against. Not to mention that there are two more players left to act. Imo there is no need to gamble it up while being the chipleader at the table. There is no value in this kind of play.

55 has around 50% equity against any tight range.

Since UTG is 6bb deep, we can't assume that is a nit, a random $2.50 player ain't a nit with this stack.

Even against this tight range (19.5%), broke 55 is +EV.

Again: We are not last to act. Therefore 50% are not sufficient imo.

Yes, and i presumed that SB will overcall with 11% and BB with 7%. With these range, broke 55 is +EV.

First of all: I really like your questioning. I am not always right for sure and it's always a good thing to discuss close spots in detail. Keep it up!

Back to the hand:
In the end it is a gamble that I don't want to take with my stack that is quite perfect for resteals. There is simply no need to take a flip in this situation imo. It might be slightly +EV, but you won't make many chips on average. Therefore I would try to conserve my stack and bring it in in better spots (--> resteals). If I loose the hand my stack won't be sufficient for effective restealing anymore. I loose a lot of playability. If I win I have 28BB - it's not much better then a 20BB stack.

I am not sure that the push is +EV. I think it might be slightly +EV. Even if it is I would still fold for future game and playability reasons.

Btw: We don't even know anything about the bubble situation. As soon as there is some bubble factor your push get's -EV ($EV) immediatly.

You can't have a lot of resteal situation here. 3 villains are <10bb deep and the only one against who we can resteal (19bb deep) is at our left. When we resteal this guy, we'll not have a lot of Fold Equity because he's not going to open as wide as he would do if everyone had >20bb since he is commit if one shortstack resteal.

If we lose, we still have 30k, we are bigger than 3 players and we can push first-in with a good Fold Equity (usually they call too tight)

If everyone (or at least the two guys at our right) was deeper, I would say that marginal +EV call should be avoid because we would have plenty of +EV resteal. But this is not the case here, at this table, with this stacksize.

So I would not fold 55 here.

BB (t38504)
UTG (t12856)
MP (t20148)
Hero (Button) (t41572)
SB (t15562)

True!
In this case the exact situation would be of importance. Is there a bubble situation (FT bubble?)? is it a 6max tournament? Are we playing 5 handed because the other seats weren't filled with players yet but will get filled for the next hand?

In a shorter form:
Why are we playing 5handed and how long will this situation last?

All these information will lead to a better understanding of the spot. As you can see it is very hard to discuss a hand without full information because everybody assumes other circumstances.

IF there is no bubble and IF we will stay 5 handed for a longer period of time (together with all these shortstacks) the call is correct.
