iPoker to split player pools

Basically i just want to know which ones will be in the "better" half, since i plan on playing there, but i have to wait and see not to make a mistake

Brief explenation for those not yet up to speed?

Basically, the iPoker "bigdogs" - William Hill, PaddyPower, Titan, bet365 and one more I cant think of on the top of my head, decided to split the network in order to keep those with rakeback accounts in a separate network.

In essence, these big sites use lots of marketing to attract fish and then the smaller sites, which offer high rakeback percentages, take away from then liquidity of the network. So when they split the network and they keep their own fish in their new network(iPoker 2) as well as winning players which will
be using the normal VIP systems.

So there will be exclusive tables on the new network that won't be on the existing network.

The split is going to affect mostly cashgames with "some" sngs affected(I haven't found information about what actual sngs will be split yet).

As we reported today, iPoker will soon be splitting up it's player pools into two seperate pools.

Although the details have not been fully unveiled yet, we are opening up this thread for you to discuss what it may mean to you, and hopefully in the future we might have some answers for you.

They have so poor SnG traffic, I don't see point of segregating them!

In theory, that is the whole reason they are doing it. All the players in the lower tier should be tough rakeback grinders, so the higher tier should be softer.

Wow, I would be pissed off if my skin gets back handed to the tier full of winning regs. I also hope this doesn't further slow the already lame sng traffic. It takes 15-20 minutes to fill a 2$ game at PEAK hours. If the 1$ tables I'm grinding slow down much more I'll be really disappointed.

Hope I'm in the first tier and all of the other regs in the 1$ games get demoted!

Shame they are all on mega rb deals on hills/titan/paddy etc along with all the robots that will be on iPoker2...........

this is nothing about improving the netork just a marketshare grab by the bigger skins.

Playtech operates the iPoker software. The owner of PLaytech also owns Titan, Playtech opens 33% of William Hill Online, you get the true picture yet?

Yep, PLO stays the same.

Ipoker strictly forbids rakeback on ALL of its skins.

If any site offers rakeback they risk losing their license, and any player found benefitting from a rakeback deal will have their funds confiscated and their account closed.

If you have rakeback on any Ipoker skin get rid of it quickly because they are clamping down hard. Poker 770 has been given a final warning about it and they are now saying any affiliate offering rakeback directly or indirectly risks having their affiliate account closed down immediately.

I hope this will be done right and everything that is rotten within the network will be separated.

lol ur obv new..................Everyone knows that eb is available on iPOker and the 2 biggest offenders are its biggest skins (owned by Playtech) and mainly William Hill.

prob is most what you speak off is on Hills, Bet365 and Titan which will be on iPoker2...................

This will do nothing to change that, just increase the market share the bigger skins have.

realy think Ipoker have messed up again , some big gambling skins like Genting , sponsore of Aston Villa in the English Permier League & run large live poker games at thier Casino's in the UK are not in the top group

dont know how many of the large bookmakers are excluded by Ipoker but will there be better value in the second group of skins knowing its split 50/50 in players
